I find out about this university on the Internet and I am really interested in the department of the French language. There are two reasons why I want to learn French at the Chinese university. First, I love Chinese language and learn Chinese is fun. Through learning Chinese, I can understand more about Chinese culture as well as my own culture since we are in the same region, Asia Pacific countries. Secondly, I love French and want to work for the UN. I can master the French language while developing my knowledge in different fields such as translation, foreign affairs, and management that would be helpful for finding a job in the UN. Besides, I also hope to immerse in the language by joining The ‘2+2’ joint program.
While looking after a place to study in China, I was totally excited about Dalian. My uncle told me that he was in Dalian and he only talked good about this city. After that it was clear for me that I want to go to Dalian for a year. The other universities weren't that attractive to me, relating to the campus and the programs that are offered.
