UIBE offers business Chinese courses relevant to my professional goals. I have been accepted to U Law's LLM program in Hong Kong but the program start has been delayed from January to September. Utilizing this time to refresh and expand my Chinese language skills will enable me to better understand relevant GBA legal structures, conduct relevant research, and better serve clients.

I decided to do my own research about this university and came upon when the Solomon Islands Education Minister visited UIBE I was impressed to know that a neighboring of mine gave high regards to UIBE. Considering that I live in china already I see UIBE and living in Beijing as ideal and my next stepping stone.

The first is the need to find a good and stable place to study overseas so that i may one day return to my homeland and use what I learned to help it develop. My current goal is to start and develop a clear International Business management skills that will assist me on helping my country to manage International Business better. It also deals with social and economic policies that alleviate insecurity, and critically examines the currently dominant residual and targeted approaches to social security. I have held several leadership positions over the past 8 years in Afar Region. I have worked as Dean of Samara University’s student office. This position gave me an opportunity to design proposals for resource mobilization, project implementation, and monitoring, evaluation and supervision of staff. I have also been Head of Department of Professional Education at Samara University, a position through which I was able to coordinate several initiatives, supervise and deal with partnership issues among other things. Moreover, I have been serving as a lecturer at Samara University since 2008. It gave me an opportunity to deliver capacity development trainings on Gender Based Violence. I have an experience of working with United Nations (UN) agencies, particularly with World Food programme (WFP) in various filed assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and community household surveillance works. From the time I was able to realize what a university was, all I heard from my mother's side of the family was about the Universities and the great heritage it has. Many a Saturday afternoon my grandfather would devote to me, by sitting me down in front of the television and reminiscing about the Universities. Later, as I grew older and universities took on greater meaning, my mother and uncle, both alumni of the University of ULK, took me to see their old stamping grounds. From first sight, the university looked frightening because of its size, but with such a large school comes diversity of people and of academic and non-academic events. In High School, non-academic clubs such as the Future Physicians and the Pylon, both of which I have belonged to for two years, give me an opportunity to see both the business world and the medical world. These two clubs have given me a greater sense of what these careers may be like. In Future Physicians, I participated in field trips to commercial centers and also participated in two local sized banks. Currently I hold no job. This lets me interact with people outside my own immediate environment. I meet different kinds of people, in different moods, with different attitudes, and with different values. This teaches me to be patient with people, to have responsibility, and to appreciate people for what they are. In the community I am active in my church Youth Group. As a high school sophomore, I was our church's representative to the Diocesan Youth Fellowship. As a senior I will be playing varsity soccer, but in the off-season.. played teams from other parts of Kigali. The past three years of my life have given me greater visions of my future.
