The department of Computer Science and Technology has done some reasonable research in the field of computing like Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Internet of Things etc. I have gone through list of Professors in the Computer Science Department, and I found out that almost all the professors have Machine learning, Blcokchain Security, Internet of things as their research interests. These informs me that Professors are very much upto date with current trend in the industry, this will have a direct impact on the kinds of research I will do. I have as well looked into the projects done by BIT like the many national key programs that includes intelligent scheduling and simulation systems for opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games. The University has a strong Alumni who work in famous companies. Most graduates of computer science and technology department works in companies like IBM, Microsoft, Google, Baidu, etc. A good percentage of Professors in the department of Computer Science had their PhD and Masters from BIT. This means the University prides in their products and their graduates as well prides in the University.

After completing my primary education in Singapore my family moved to Bangalore which is the IT capital of India and I had completed my schooling from the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Board or in short known as ICSE until the tenth grade which is even now considered the toughest education stream in INDIA. During my years at school I was always an enthusiast and also held the title as the Schools famous soccer player which did run for a couple of years until after a fatal on field collusion with another player which concluded my path to soccer thereafter. I was a student who had also sought the passion to become a successful person, in either of the fields that I felt was the right choice for me. After all every kid would dream of becoming a successful person and get a job that is recognized by everyone. Although I might’ve thought in a similar way I had a different approach to this. I felt it was a great time and opportunity and got to interested into this new idea. I did my research and came out with a fully functional Electric Cycle by retrofitting. I considered starting a Venture with the Electrical Cycles as a notion to being the first E-Cycle venture affordable to the common man & is currently in the Research and Development stage as I mention. It was very clear to me that I wanted to follow this path and had pretty much explained why I had to pursue Business Management courses. I completed my 11th and 12th in the American stream NWAC(North-West Accreditation commission ) and was given an American High School Diploma Certificate upon Graduating. I had pursued my High School from this Board solely for attaining a Globally recognized certificate which would open doors for me into Business Universities Abroad. I think Beijing University is a perfect match for me because throughout my life I have lived in big urban cities hence I’m not used to cozy life away from the city noises and since Beijing University is situated in Beijing which is like a Mecca of cities I won’t have trouble fitting in. I think University of Beijing is a perfect match for me because throughout my life I have lived in big urban cities hence I'm not used to cozy life away from the city noises and since University of Beijing is situated in Beijing which is like a Mecca of cities with its powerful winds I won't have trouble fitting in. Secondly I grew up in a lower middle class ethiopian family, obviously there were financial issues and I never got much attention but due to those reasons I grew up to be a challenger and I guy that craves for appreciation. I have heard a lot of people complaining about though life of Beijing and the hard competition of University of Beijing and this excites me to go up against the meanest city in the world and make myself heard and known in famous University of Beijing so people treat me like somebody important. Also I want to be an engineer and I have heard so much about your distinct mechanical engineering program that can help me, I also love sports and your basketball team has been performing really well, I have been Captain of my high school basketball team as well as the best point guard and I think I can contribute a lot.
