尊敬的老师们： 您好！非常感谢您抽空审阅我的个人论述。我是彭康衢，之前就读于新加坡诺雅初级学院。 自从我几年前发现了动物医学这个领域，我便开始寻找与动物有关的志愿服务机会，希望能够进一步了解这个专业。在朋友的帮助下，我在一家宠物诊所当了了半年的志愿者，并且在服完兵役之后当了三个月的助理。在那期间，我会跟随兽医看诊，并协助动物治疗，例如超声检查、抽血和手术等。这使我对诊所的常规运作有了些许了解。此外，有时候我也会准备顾客的药方，使我能够认识在兽医学中使用的各种药物。除了诊所之外，我之前在一所猫舍做了一年的义工，每周都会给猫咪们喂食，而且在它们生病时给它们服药。我便发觉自己非常喜欢在这种能够与动物接触的环境下工作。而且，能够成为这些动物生活中的一部分，并且看着它们健康地成长是一件十分有意义和有成就感的事。所以，我便申请了贵校的动物医学专业，希望自己通过此专业能够成为一名兽医，为动物的健康尽一份力。 初级学院就读期间，我上了理科班，并选了生物、化学、数学与经济学为主要学科。我在学习上要求自己努力向上，也在第二年的时候因为成绩理想而获得修读H3化学的机会。虽然工作量有所增加，但我的时间管理以及抗压能力也因此进步了不少。除此之外，我在初级学院也积极地使用中英文，拥有使用双语沟通的能力。我相信我在高中所学的知识能够为自己上大学时奠下良好的基础。 我在初级学院的时候也积极参与各种活动，以提升自己学术以外的能力。我参加了校内的华乐团，也成为了乐团里其中一位执行委员。我与其他委员一同策划了乐团内的活动，而其中的活动包括教导孩子如何演奏民乐乐器、校外演出等。担任执委的经验使我学到如可更好地与他人沟通，从而提高团队合作能力。我在校外也参加了不同的社区服务活动，帮助居住在社区里的居民。 我十分希望能够就读贵校的动物医学专业，在贵校的教导下从而提升自己的学术水平，迈向自己想实现的目标。 再次感谢老师们的垂阅！
