It is a public university, so the degrees awarded by this university have the authority of the government of PR China. the B.Eng Civil Engineering program offered in English medium is specially designed according to international students needs and is recognized by China Engineering education accreditation council...The facilities provided by this university are very Good, plus the university is location in a very beautiful location within the city of Hangzhou which is known as the most beautiful city in China...Most teachers are good and highly qualified except some teachers spoken English is not up to the level...The department dealing with international students are very rude and unsatisfactory...overall ZUST is a good university keeping mind both its pros and cons...I really enjoyed my time at ZUST and always miss it...

I finished my bachlor degree of Chinese Language and Literature (Business Chinese)in July this year, it is really a good experience to study in ZUST. The teachers are nice, the campus is beautiful. Now I become a fulent Chinese speaker from a Chinese beginner.

This Institute, which we get a bit confussed wether it's a university or institute, is a big a nice place with alot of foreign student who will make you welcome and at home. This University is the most friendly university to foreigners in Hangzhou would actually advice people who want to do business or civil engineering in English can come join us.
