Teaching objective

Adaption to the rapid development of radio and television needs. The major  integrate the theory and practice, focusing on providing integrated talent with theoretical knowledge and planning operational capacity for the radio and television, cultural communication and public information departments, and, public relations, publicity, video production department of the enterprise and the public institution.

Main course

Professional basic courses:
Theory of art, literature writing, The General Theory of Chinese and foreign cultures and Chinese and foreign literary classics

Major courses:
Introduction to television, Introduction to radio science, news interview, Foundation of Directing, Chinese film history, the history of foreign films, audio-visual language and analysis of works, film and television dramas, film critics, television director, photography and darkroom techniques, the host art, TV shows planning and production, basic computer production, advertising, performing basis, Introduction to animation.

The main elective courses:
Modern communication, contemporary film culture topics, video marketing, documentary research, network communication, advertising creation and planning, communication language studies, television production systems, radio program production, Introduction to anime, animation screenplay etc.

The major emphasis on linking theory with practice, organize the students to watch hundreds of foreign and Chinese famous film and television to improve their ability to appreciate and criticize capabilities based on film and television text analysis, and to exercise its practical operation capability through the production of short films, copy writing, program planning, and other teaching activities.
