Note:Tianjin Government Scholarship is a one-year duration scholarship open for both prospective students and current students at Tianjin University, it could be applied year by year.

Eligibility

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health;

2. Requirements for applicants’ degree and age: 
Applicant applying for a Master degree should hold a Bachelor diploma and be under the age of 35;
Applicant applying for a PhD degree should hold a Master diploma and be under the age of 40.

3. Language Proficiency requirements:
Chinese-taught programs applicants need to submit HSK certificates. A minimum requirement of HSK4 (Score 195 or above) for Engineering/Science; HSK5 (Score 180 or above) for business and liberal arts is needed.
English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate (English native speakers are exempted). TOEFL: no less than 80, IELTS: no less than 6.0. (Native English speakers are exempted)

4. Applicants should have good conduct, good physical and mental health, and be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and Tianjin University.

Documents You Need to Provide

1. Study or Research Plan
At least 800 characters, in Chinese or English.

2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3. Scanned Copy of Highest Diploma
Scan copy of Pre-graduation Certificate is required if the applicant has not gained degree certificate before the application deadline. Once admitted, students are required to present their original Bachelor Degree Certificate with the Degree Authentication Document upon registration for enrollment qualification review. Students who fail the enrollment qualification review will be disqualified from enrollment.

4. Scan of notarized copy of the high school academic transcripts or scan of international standardization test results
Applicants who will not graduate before the application deadline must provide their current academic transcript. In this case, the completed academic transcripts must be submitted before registration.

7. Two recommendation letters
Applicants who apply for Master’s program need to submit two recommendation letters in English or Chinese from two professors or associate professors.

The start and end time of each education experience must be uninterrupted, and education level should start from senior middle school.

14. Acceptance Letter from TJU Supervisor
Remember to upload it to the application system if you get the Acceptance Letter.

15. Applicants of School of Architecture are requested to submit E-work Collection and Video Presentation

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.

Program Description

This program aims at training the talents with broad international vision and strong ability of international communication, good moral and humanistic literacy, and with solid theoretical foundation and professional knowledge in the pharmaceutical field. The graduates are qualified with the capability of scientific research and teaching, academic exchanges and self-learning in related Pharmacy field. This program includes 5 research fields: Medicinal Chemistry; Pharmaceutical Analysis; Pharmacognosy; Molecular and cellular pharmacology; Pharmaceutics.
