Scholarship Detail

The scholarship covers half of tuition fee of each academic year and insurance fee.

Note:

For applicants who got the scholarship successfully need to pay the whole fees to school when they register in school , normally students will receive the scholarship money after they studied in school within 1 month.

Eligibility

Be in health, and abide for Chinese laws.
Age between 18-40
Master applicants should have a strong academic background and strong ability of innovation and doing research.
With good grades.
Language required:
HSK 5 level is required for studying Chinese taught programs, and holding HSK 6 level is preference.
English level certificate is required for English taught programs, above TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.5 above is preference.
For foreign citizens of Chinese origin, OUC (Ocean University of China follows the MOE documents of No.83 (2009).
Applicants with recommended by college are preference.

1.Ocean University of China admission application form
2.President for freshman scholarship application form
3.Bachelor degree certificate (original version or notarized version) and a translated Chinese version.
4.Undergradaute transcript.
5.2 copies of passport and 2 photos of two-inch.
6. Study or research plan( content includes program introduction, research orientation, study plan etc.)
7.No-criminal letter
8.Work certification (Both in native language & in Chinese, required for applicants who have work experiences.)
9.Medical examination
10.Resume( Chinese or English version, content should included self basic information, education experience and work experience.
11.Language certificate (HSK within two years for Chinese taught programs, TOEFL or IELTS for English taught programs within two years.)
12. Recommendations from two professors (Including the recommender’s signature, contact phone number and E-mail address）

Natasha Indonesia An international student specialized in Business Administration My name is Natasha, I'm from Indonesia. I study Business Administration at Ocean University of China. It has been three years since I first enrolled here. Laoshan campus is very beautiful. On spring time, me and my friends like to go to Cherry Blossoms Street and take lots of pictures with the blooming cherry blossoms. Studying in OUC has been an interesting experience for me. I get to study with other foreigner friends and have been taught by Chinese teachers. It was quite a fun learning experience for me. I made some Chinese friends on campus and learned to get used to Chinese customs. We also celebrated some Chinese festivals together.  I tried some delicious food at the campus canteen too! My favorite is Hainan rice with chicken cutlet.

Sagauke Zimbabwe An international student specialized in Chinese Language. Being an international student at OUC has been nothing short of an adventure, a journey of growth and definitely an amazing learning experience. As an international student, I have had many opportunities to participate in various school activities, giving me the chance to interact not only with Chinese students but also with students from many different parts of the world. This has helped in allowing me to fully experience the Chinese culture. As a Chinese Language major, it has also been a major key in improving my language skills through communication with Chinese students and the local people of Qingdao.
