1.18-25 years old and hold a minimum of high school diploma, in good health. 2.Requirements of programs taught in Chinese: HSK4 achieve 180 or above; for those fail to meet the entry requirements (HSK4), after passing the written examination and interview from ZJUT, they will receive one year’s conditional admission, students should pass HSK4 during the one year or they will be regarded as quit. Some majors related to Chinese language and culture require HSK5 or above. Applicants whose compulsory courses were taught in Chinese during secondary education (junior and senior high school) can be exempt from submitting HSK certificate. 3.Requirements of programs taught in English: 1) Native English Speaker or English as official language, 2) IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 60, 3) Instructed in English at high school 4) Other English Language Competence are accepted by our university. 4.Applicants should have a good academic record which is among top of the class. The purpose of this program is to train high-level application-oriented professionals, who can grasp the fundamental theories, knowledge and skills in global economics and international trade; who should be quick in the awareness of the current economic development both at home and abroad; who can comprehend and apply into practice the current accepted standards, rules, regulations and laws in international trade and who can solve practical problems in this field.
This program will be in line with the international main-stream curriculums in the major of international economics and business, and combine the Chinese characteristics as well. The program emphasizes the internationalization, application, and case study.
The students in this program will mainly study the basic theories and fundamental knowledge of economics, international economics and trade, receive the fundamental trainings of economics and management, and master the ability of theoretical analysis and doing the international trade business. All the courses of this program, excerpts a few Chinese-related ones, will be taught in English.
