Scholarship Detail

Class B Scholarship:

Bachelor’s degree:
160 students, at a rate of 20,000 RMB/person.

The scholarship covers:
1. Registration fee, tuition fee, fee for basic learning materials
2. Accommodation fee and serious disease and accident insurance.

Note:

• The results on scholarship will come out in Sep. Applicants need to pay about 3000 RMB seat reserve fee before they come to China to get self-sponsored program seat at first. The seat reserve fee will be used as tuition fee after student registered in the school.
• Students need to pay the whole fees when they register in school.
• The university will review those students who paid seat reserve fee and got self-sponsored admission's scholarship application and decide whether or not offer applicant scholarship.

Eligibility

a. Applicant for bachelor’s degree program or for two/three-year college degree should have obtained senior high school diploma or equivalent education, and be under the age of 30.

b. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.

c. Applicants should comply with the laws and regulations in China, and comply with the rules and disciplines in the host university.

d. Applicants should have a good knowledge of Chinese and provide proofs such as HSK certificates or other Chinese learning or Chinese examination certificates.
For those applying for courses taught in English, the standard might be lowered.

The major aims at cultivating talents with excellent professional quality, who are able to systematically master the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and methods of digital media technology, and have the ability to design and develop digital media productions. Students are to learn basic theories and professional knowledge of graphics, images, audio and video, 2-dimension and 3-dimension media design, game programming, interactive multimedia system design as well as the methods of design and develop software in the field of digital media and network. These trainings help students grasp core technologies of digital media and aquire artistic creativity in digital media technology.

Editor Notes: After graduation, students can work in different fields of  game programming, interactive multimedia system design and mobile device programming.

Graduates of this program can engage in various digital media application fields like game programming, interactive multimedia system design, mobile device programming, web programming, digital video post-production, animation production, information system management, and also can find relative positions in the Municipal, Finance or Education Departments. Since its foundation, the major has already cultivated and sent lots of professional digital media graduates to high-tech enterprises. Many graduates have become the backbone of digital media-related fields and senior management personnel. Some graduates further their studies in universities both home and abroad such as University of Edinburgh, University of Southampton, Nanyang Technological University, University of Utah, Waseda University, Tokyo University of Technology, Zhejiang University,Dalian University of Technology and Zhejiang University of Technology.
