International Business provides students with the knowledge and skills required to survive and thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. Students will gain an understanding of the tools, techniques and practical skills associated with operating an organization across borders, and an appreciation of the interactions between firms, governments and society in an international context. They will master the ability of theoretical analysis and doing international business. All the courses of this program, except a few Chinese-related ones, will be taught in English.
Education achievement
The programme offers students an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge with regard to global business. The modules undertaken in this programme reflect such a perspective with students best placed to take up employment within global organizations. The business students will develop their skills in critical analysis, information processing, and data presentation. They prepare for a range of careers in international business and management, with the skills and outlook to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global workplace.

The International Business is awarded to students who successfully complete five taught modules (138 credit points) including research dissertation and past the fourth level of new HSK. Students may expect a variety of assessment types (reports, presentations, essays, exams) aimed to enhance skills development, critical analysis and capacity building.
Core courses: International Economics, Principles of Management, China's international trade practice, International Finance, International Marketing, International Business Law, Basic E-commerce, International business negotiation, Multinational Corporation Management, etc.
Practices include Social Investigation/Study-abroad Program, Field Practice, Entrepreneur Practice, Corporation Internship, Graduation Internship, and Graduation Thesis.

To promote the development of economy has become one of the main goals of governments all over the world. At present and in the future 20 years Chinese economy is still in rapid growth, especially in Zhejiang province, which is located in the Yangtze River Delta, one of the most developed provinces in China.
