• Have a good knowledge of Chinese culture, politics, economy and history.
• Understanding Chinese language, including in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation proficiently.
• To master the necessary computer skills.
• Have the ability of the basic theory of economics, business management, marketing and international business, the basic knowledge and skills.
• To master certain analytical ability, creativity and decision-making ability.

3. Program Structure

Editor Notes: Each student must complete 54 credits of courses including 36 compulsory, 18 elective and 8 for a practicum requirement.

4. Academic Semesters

Editor Notes: There are 3 semesters in one academic year: fall, spring and summer. Fall and spring semesters consist of 14 weeks of normal classes and a summer term consists of 8 weeks of classes (except Practicum and Internship).

• Fall Semester: the end of August to the middle of December.
• Spring Semester: the end of January to the end of May.
• Summer Term: the beginning of June to the end of July.

Note: The course requires students to pay the tuition or admission deposit before issuing the admission package.

5. Thesis

Editor Notes: In the fourth year of their study, students must complete a thesis related to their major to meet the graduation requirements.

• ​The thesis should consists of about 8000 words. 
• The thesis shall be an assessment on the intended level of achievement both in the major and the general learning outcomes by the students. 
• Students should apply their learning to complex, unscripted problems in the context of their advanced studies, the mastery of the skills.
• Students should use the ability to integrate knowledge and skills and present their work in an appropriate manner.​

6. Internship and Career Development

• The university participates actively in promoting business and economic cooperation between China and other countries. 
• Students have the opportunities to do a part-time job or internship at the multinational or other big companies with various fields.
