In the recommendation, your counselor (or a teacher/professor who taught you in the last 2-3 years) tells us about their experience with you as a student. This can include both personal and academic characteristics, as well as your extracurricular involvement.
Applicants who have either one or both parents possess Chinese citizenship but are long-term/permanent residents in another country were already in possession of foreign citizenship by the time of birth, and cannot possess Chinese citizenship. This type of applicant should provide the following documents:
Past ID information of both parents during the applicant’s time of birth in photocopy form
Current ID information of both parents in photocopy form
Residency documents of one or both parents at the time of the applicant’s birth
The applicant’s birth certificate that proves non-Chinese nationality or acquisition of foreign citizenship
