Program Description
Program Introduction
The College of International Education of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) provides a rich variety of preparatory courses to the students who plan to apply the degree study at HIT.
Preparatory Courses for Bachelor
If you are Chinese language beginners, you can choose advanced Chinese language courses. Or if your Chinese are good enough and plan to pursue a Bachelor degree in HIT, you can join in the suitable international classes as you wish. Beside of the regular Chinese language courses on Thursday, we also provide many major courses for Bachelor, including mathematics, physics and chemistry and culture or practical courses.
Preparatory Courses for Master
30 credit hours of advanced Chinese language courses along with free HSK tutorship every week are provided to help you pass the HSK4. Also provided are major courses like mathematics, culture classes like Chinese society, culture lectures and cultural investigations, as well as practical courses like sports activities, psychological training, counseling, language competition and art performance, which aims to help international students to adopt to the environment, to understand Chinese culture and to enhanced language skills and expertise knowledge for Master degree.

Entry Requirements
1. Be a high school diploma holder or its equivalent under the age of 30;
2. Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ";
3. Be in good health both mentally and physically.
Note:International students who successfully complete preparatory courses at HIT can obtain priority admission to the undergraduate programs.
