The position is Finance Clerk of the Unit, taking responsibility for performing a variety of financial administrative tasks, such as preparing and processing transactions, reviewing financial documents, reporting financial information and following the order or the authority to purchase materials, etc. This experience endows me with familiarity with financial databases and records, account reconciliations, and capital operating of a unit. I also take charge of logistics support to ensure the material supply and complete administrative work. I also learned practical skills, such as operating the military procurement system, negotiating purchase prices with suppliers, etc. This experience was a challenge for me at first since I have to adapt to a different environment as a new graduate. Though often demanding, such a system with its lack of rigid scheduling is also highly stimulating as it encourages students to develop a critical mind and an independent approach – two highly sought attributes in today’s knowledge-based employment market. The study program may take 3-4 years in the university. The study plan will be redesign based on after offering scholarship. But I designed tentative plan for my PhD program.

Growing up in United State with an Argentine mother exposed me to a variety of cultures just from the start. Together my mother and I were able to travel for long periods of time to Argentina. This time last year, I thought it was going to be a crucial point in my life. A fact that is both scary and my the driving force behind my motivation, for I not only want to make my parents proud by achieving academic and social success, but also for myself. I want to be well prepared when I have to confront the world by myself. I have spoken about this fear with my parents this past year and I remember my father telling me how mature I was. I have nothing but gratitude toward my parents for being so unconditionally supportive. I particularly remember when I was helping the physically disabled people at the Raphayel Facility for the Disabled Children, in Korea, I would notice they would leave their rooms in the morning and come back to the unaltered. I remember feeling grateful when I would come back home and feel the presence of family. I am well aware that I cannot change the natural process of life, but want to find out if there is anything I could do to. This inquiry for what causes a problem and what the solution is, has lead me to direct my interest toward research. One day I would like to be part of the medical or pharmaceutical world, and I believe that studying sciences will provide a solid foundation that I need to achieve my goals.

Growing up I was enclosed within the limits of my Mexican-American culture. n 2015, I was accepted to SUNY Geneseo in USA to begin my bachelor's degree in biochemistry. Throughout my career, I performed excellently academically. Resulting so, I was accepted SUNY Geneseo considering the results obtained through my Edexcel IGCSE O Level and International A/S level and examinations. Owing to my admission for my undergraduate degree. I was not required to complete my A2 Level examinations. I studied the science subjects and for my O levels. I earned 5 A*s and 3 As. I pursued my studies in the science field taking the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology for my A/s levels and obtained 3As and 1B. I studied two years at SUNY Geneseo and on three semesters I was in the Dean's list which requires a GPA over 3.5/4.0. However, my fourth semester was not that successful as I was disturbed by the sickness of my mother. I returned for the Summer break and felt compelled to skip a semester. It could not be avoided considering that my parents are expatriates and working in Bangladesh; I was left with no other choice but to look after my ailing mother as I am the elder son As the immigration regulations had changed while I was away, I had to re-apply for my Student Visa in order to continue my education in the US . Despite mine and my University's efforts to return and resume my studies, the new regulations by the Federal administration did not grant me my new Student Visa. Now, I am left destitute in my education, forcing me to drop out of my University, where I was excelling, and give up what I had built, my accomplishments, and relationships in America. Regardless, I am determined to study Medicine in a global superpower so that I have the opportunity to best educate myself in the subject. Actually, when I was learning in university at undergraduate level, I had been really admired on maternity challenges, sufferings during pregnancy, labour, delivery and postpartum period. But after graduation while I was serving at health center among rural community mothers face similar challenge too. “How can we address Maternal and Child Health problems epidemiologically and practically?” this my usual question Presently, I am a lecturer in Mizan Tepi University College of Health Science, department of Public Health, Ethiopia. My main responsibilities are teaching, giving community service, counseling and advising students, conducting research and development activities in individually or in a team. And currently, I handled the courses like Communicable Disease Control, research methodology, Disaster Management Preparedness and Prevention, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics courses. Working as a Public Health expert needs to keep deep knowledge, conceptual models, approaches and experiences in advanced technologies to come up with solution for maternal and child health hinderers. The major tasks that I can run after the training based on findings will be doing different research and development duties like designing promotion and solution for maternal and child health problems, scaling up the project, developing awareness and creating positive attitude with favorable environment. Our institution Mizan-Tepi University also aspires to train high caliber professionals at graduate and post graduate levels through community based education program. To contribute for this mission the training is very imperative to fill the skill and knowledge gap. To be frankly if we have a single qualified individual in the area, we easily prevent pregnancy related death and diseases of mothers and newborns which are frequent problems hindering majority of low income countries, mainly Ethiopia. I believe we shall fill this gap i.e. the scarcity of trained workforce in the college where I am working if you offer this PhD program. I question how Thailand will deal with its aging population, as it can’t even meet general population needs. Thailand produces 3,000 new doctors a year, well below demand. As I recognize this issue within my own family, with a grandmother who had a stroke and its repercussions on our family, I foresee how families will suffer similarly. Only by becoming a medical professional can I help to solve this inevitable problem. To meet my goals, I studied biology and chemistry. I have completed both individual and group labs, including the monitoring of ventilation in humans at rest and after exercise using chest belt monitors. Additionally, I conducted a pGLO transformation lab, inserting genetically modified plasmids into E. Coli bacteria and placing different agar plates to observe how transformed cells grew in the absence and presence of ampicillin. Curious whether natural and artificial enzymes were effective, I conducted a comparison lab to investigate the catalytic activities of extraction from fresh fruits and artificial enzymes. In Chemistry, I performed an esterification experiment mixing isomeric alcohols with carboxylic acids and conducted titration using a burette. In my chemistry individual assessment, I investigated whether claims of iron content in iron tablets were accurate, observing potassium thiocyanate reacting with iron (III) releasing color and collecting data via spectrometry. My extended research paper, assisting professor Kittikhun Kerdsomboon at Mahidol University, set out to prove that Moringa Oleifera leaves, known for high levels of antioxidants claimed to help prevent DNA damage leading to cancer, were an effective dietary additive. This paper will be published with JBB Editorial Board (The Society for Biotechnology, Japan) later this year. My internships have continued my growth. For 1.5 years, I have shadowed doctors in all departments and operations at Nakornthon Hospital, where I have observed many operations: surgical removal of a primary malignant brain tumor from the frontal lobe, bullet removal from the face, which later was skin grafted, and knee replacement for an arthritis patient. Through these operations I have seen how doctors carefully observed and reacted to patients’ physical and emotional reactions. At Siriraj Hospital, Thailand’s largest public hospital, I interned in the maternal fetal medicine department and attended lectures alongside medical students, observing small operations including contraceptive implants and contraceptive loop insertions. Attending to lectures and consultant sessions, I experienced how diagnoses were reported to patients and how doctors managed unexpected reactions. Finally, interning at the Institute of Aviation medicine I saw how technology could be used to both predict aeronaut success and prevent accidents in the field. As technology improves, our lives are enriched. Volunteering at a home for childcare and disabled people for 2.5 years has taught me to value human dignity regardless of condition. I have also participated in clubs and competitions. To improve public speaking, I joined Model United Nations conferences and entered the National Junior Achievement Competition, producing long sleeve gloves for bikers to prevent skin cancer. As public speaking and teamwork are critical to the medical field, these activities are invaluable. I am now ready to continue my medical journey by attending medical program in Fudan University, the university that will provide the diversity, academic setting, and technology to enhance current skills. Experiences in the Chinese healthcare system will allow me to learn methodologies that I can bring back to Thailand, progressing medical services in my home country.
