Witnessing the number of Chinese national in Fiji keeps on increasing and are visiting Sports Facilities for daily exercise with language has been a major barrier . If i do make it to China to study Sports Science and also studying Chinese language at your University, it will be a huge bonus. So when i'm back in Fiji, I will be equipped with Sports knowledge, Chinese background, language and traditional cultures. Therefore, for any local Chinese visiting my Sports Facilities they will be more like at home because of the background and experience i have. I have always been keen on the asian culture especially the Chinese one. When I hear the word China, all I can think about is ancient history, food, music and so on. I chose Beijing Sport University because it is located in Beijing, the heart of China. Chinese language is an art itself, and demands to be learned. I believe I make a good candidate because of how motivated I am to learn more about a culture that makes my heart melt.

MY INTRODUCTION I am Swapnil Desai, Male, born on 11th September 1992. I was born and brought up in Indian state of Maharashtra, located in western part of India. At present, I am a senior at BSSS College Bhopal majoring in Business Management. ACADEMIC BACKROUND After completing 13 years education (3 years preschool education, 7 years in middle school, and 3 years in high school), I successfully entered in junior college where I chose science stream and successfully got graduated from it. After graduating from junior college, I am currently pursuing my undergraduate studies from BSSS College, Bhopal, which has re-accredited highest grade on the basis of its performance by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of higher education in India. EXPERIENCE During the years of my education in junior college, I have undergone Football training at Sports Authority of India at Mumbai Regional Centre and also represented my college football team. A lot of practice sessions helped me gain experience and expertise in football and become a strong person both physically and mentally. I was also part of my school cricket team when I was studying in high school. MY AMBITION I was very ambitious about making it to the professional level in Football but didn’t get right opportunity to prove myself. Unfortunately I was not able to represent any team at top level because of the excess academic study pressure. I realized my passion for sports since my childhood so I chose not to give up my passion and ambition and decided to choose sports as my career in future. I would like to say that is what I would love to do in my life. The sports industry is very competitive but I think that Degree in sports coaching and training can help me succeed in many careers. It will help me pursue the pinnacle of my dreams by utilizing my skills to bring progress in the field. WHY STUDY IN CHINA After achieving Bachelor Degree, I have decided to go for Master Degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Master of Education) in Beijing Sports University, China. Now the question arises, “Why in China?” Watching and reading news, it is learnt that China has witnessed fast and rapid growth in many sectors such as Economics and Sports in particular. Also, watching China dominate medals tally in many international games is common sight in Olympics & Asian Games. It goes without saying that China prepares extensively for these marquee events and are immaculate with their execution in the sport they participate. Surely, China has the largest population in the world resulting in a strong talent pool. And that is very impressive as well as inspiring for sports enthusiasts like me. The large population of the country leads to harsh competition in every field and only the best get selected and become world beaters. When there is no dearth of talent, you need good men to spot good quality talent and that is where the role of good coaches and scouts come into play. There are close to 50,000 sports schools giving high quality education and training to the budding athletes and encouraging them to bring laurels to the nations, this makes clear that sports is given utmost importance in China. The sports universities in China with high standard and reputation fulfill a great aspiration to the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. I personally look at China as land of opportunities in the field of sports and an ideal place for me to pursue my post graduation studies in sports. Studying in an internationally reputed sports university would be a great opportunity to shape my future. Study Plan & Research Proposal I have planned to pursue my Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Master of Education) in Beijing Sports University, China. The research includes Building leadership quality and carry forward the legacy of quality sports in its sanctity and display the ‘Spirit of Swifter, Higher, Stronger’ with an excellent and challenging carrier opportunity to prove ourselves at full physical potential and courage to rise high in the field of sports career. There is a need for mutual enhancement of morality and techniques in order to cultivate all-round talents for the society as its educational principle, which carry forward rich tradition in teaching, research field and dedication for continuous enhancement of the quality of both teaching and talent cultivation. The Sports career is professional business from career point of view serving as a source of prime entertainment and large revenue generator for governments that takes the expertise of managers, executives and other personnel to operate successfully. Many of these positions require an advanced educational degree. Master's degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Master of Education) may lead to a career as a coach, manager, agent, sports retailer, distributor or marketer. The facilities management, event planning and ticket sales operations are other possible avenues of engagements. Physical Education and Sports Coaching (Master of Education) is an interdisciplinary field. It will help me to ensure acquiring skills in physical education, especially those regarding lifetime wellness, sports, and general health. After completing my Master Degree course at Beijing Sports University, China, I prefer to link myself with some of the renowned sports organizations as manager, trainer, scout or as coach. I’d like to associate myself with sports team which is determined and dedicated to achieve highest level of success and assist them in achieving their objectives and future goals. I look forward for better prospectus and career after my higher education in the field of sports.
