The reason why i chosed this university is due to it’s location. First of all, it’s located at Chengdu city, Sichuan province. Chengdu is a wonderful city in China full of interesting places to discover, great food to enjoy and a perfect place to introduce to Chinese language into China. Also this university is located in the city center, which for me it’s important to perform a full immersion studying as I want to do. Interacting with locals, discovering new places and act as a local in the city, is the best way to learn a language and get immersed into the Chinese culture. Of course, there are also pandas :)
I would like to pursue my studies in this university firstly because it has the field that i would like to study and, due to the researches i have done concerning the university, i have received great feedback concerning programs, results.

This aspect makes the location inviting since it gives a sense of new discovery and this has always interested me. In the new technology advancing world, I believe that boarders between countries becomes a hindrance to further development of ideas hence the interest in this university.

When I was scrolling through the software engineering program , I was immediately interested especially after learning that it's a research-intensive university meaning the students get to learn a lot but also practice more which is very much my preference since I taught myself coding upto now . I'm actually student in High school in france , I'm actually on the way to do the final the test to get my diploma to being able to pursuit my study.My courses is actually economie and sociology science and I have the ambition to keep studying in this way. I've already traveled in chengdu three time and I really love this city ,my girlfriend also study here and its her who gave me the passion for that city especially, since my young age i always wanted to come in china to do my life or learn the culture the language , the probleme is none of my high school around my place had chinese (mandarin) class ... My project in the future is after this year moving to xiamen or shanghai for following my study there in international exchange / business or in Financial , and maybe if my chinese skill is enough taking a courses in chinese instead to take it in english My motivation for learning Chinese , is simply being able to understand this country and the citizen , his history , being able to exchange with the people there , being able to talk with my girlfriend family in their own mother tong , to be able to show them a huge respect for China. PERSONAL STATEMENT I am writing this letter to apply for a PhD university of electronic science and technology china. Living in this ever changing world, coupled with technology, businesses are faced with the task of having to devise strategies in order to thrive and succeed. Consequently, companies are using tools to win and penetrate markets of interest; I am therefore concerned as to the intention of companies coming to sub Saharan African countries embarking on corporate social responsibility (CSR). I therefore researched during my master program as to whether CSR is beneficial to companies in terms financial performance and branding or perhaps it’s just a strategy to penetrate markets. I have published an article on advertising in a Chinese a magazine and Chinese website (www.cnki.net) I am a persistent person with the penchant to succeed in any endeavour; I also strive to improve upon myself. The dexterity with which I manage myself, whether through setting personal goals, seeking out alternative view points or proactively seeking out and responding to professional feedback allows me to take responsibility for my own actions which is a good trait in a leader and as a PhD student. Again, the need for me to drive my own personal and professional progression will also let me learn along the way. During my bachelor degree studies, I underwent the experience of developing a website with a database application. Under the supervision of Prof. Maxwell Dorgbefu Jnr. Along with my colleague I have prepared the project. While submitting the assignment, our lecturer observed the project and recommended our project for approval. Upon receiving this acknowledgement of my work I would like to carry on my penchant for master’s program, as this online shopping system is gaining increasing importance, in all aspect and is having significant impact on almost all industries and all areas of society. There is an ample scope to prove one’s ability, competence and intelligence in this revolutionary and potentially very beneficial online shopping system. Besides the college academics I was actively involved in the extra-curricular activities. The driving force behind all this was my aim to develop all the facets of my personality.
