Before, I used to work for a Chinese owned company in my home city and found that I really enjoy the Chinese culture and people, but the language is probably one of the most difficult in the world. I have found that I have a very big interest in learning Chinese and also see more of the culture in the country itself and that is when I started searching for short courses online and found CUCAS, which is an excellent website with very helpful people and gave me a few options. I chose Tianjin International Chinese College, because of its affordability, great facilities, location and kind people.
I hope to be accepted later this week and start my lessons on the 1st op September. Wish me luck!
This seems like a good program to improve my Chinese and I'll be able to take another academic course. Overall it's advantageous because of that academic structure with 1-3 years bachelor's program at two universities. I haven't seen other programs like this and in this way it's unique and I'm excited.
my friends told me this university is the best for studying Chinese in china , and its not expensive like Beijing university.
It feels like one chapter of life came to an end. I will always miss being in the Chinese class, I will miss being so free and happy, I will miss being a pain asking questions to my teachers. Thank you for being one of the best chapters of my life here in China. I still study online with TICC now that I’m back to Sri Lanka!
A quick tip for everyone who wants to learn Chinese, be interested in China and its culture will help you learn Mandarin effectively and efficiently. The fifth floor of TICC’s main building is my favourite place to go. It has all the culture-related study rooms. After I returned to Scotland, I become the Chinese teacher for my friends. It was awesome!
After graduated from TICC, with the help from my teachers, I entered Tianjin Polytechnic University as a junior undergraduate student. Once again with their help, I am currently studying my master degree for Chinese as a second language major at Tianjin University grad school. In addition, I got full scholarship! I can’t really thank them enough for what they’ve done to me. TICC is the place that changed my life!
Thanks to my teachers at TICC, I passed HSK Level 6 in just 6 months. It was magic! My teacher actually came to my room and asked me to go to class for one or two times when I was being lazy. Learning language means hard work. I am grateful that my teachers was strict on my study.
