We, Kathrin and Alex, are two students from Austria and Germany and we will study a Master’s degree of International Business at South East University, starting next winter semester.

When we decided to study a Master’s degree in China, the first thing we noticed was the huge amount of universities and courses to choose from, and the little information we were able to find about them on the university homepages.

We are going to graduate from our Bachelor’s degree in September, more or less the same time that all the Master courses will start. Therefore it was really important for us to get directly in contact with the universities to see if it was possible to apply without a graduation certificate. As a consequence, we sent a lot of emails to the most interesting universities for more information, but getting none or little.

When we found CUCAS, our situation completely changed. All the Bachelor and Master courses are very easy to find and very well explained. At the beginning we were skeptical, because we couldn’t believe that all the information that we were searching for was summarized in one single homepage. But we decided to write an email to CUCAS staff and explained our problem to them. A couple of hours later we had the answers we were looking for.

Because our situation was kind of special, we had a lot of email contact with CUCAS staff, and they were writing back instantly and very friendly, taking care about all of our problems and inquiries. We are happy that we found such a reliable and fast service that we were able to trust so much. Thanks to CUCAS it is possible for us to study our Master’s degree together in China, without having to worry about anything concerning the application procedure.

Wir, Kathrin und Alex, sind Studenten aus Österreich und Deutschland. Im Oktober 2010 werden wir unser Master Studium an der South East University in Nanjing beginnen.

Nachdem wir uns für ein Master Studium in China entschlossen haben, begannen wir uns über ein solches im Internet zu informieren. Diese Informationssuche erwies sich jedoch als außerordentlich schwierig, da auf den Webseiten der Universitäten nur spärliche Informationen zur Verfügung standen.

Ein weiteres Problem, welches in unserem Fall bestand, war, dass wir unsere Bachelorprüfung erst im September 2010 – also mehr oder weniger genau zu der Zeit, in der sämtliche Master Studiengänge in China beginnen – haben werden. Aus diesem Grund war es für uns besonders wichtig mit den Universitäten direkt in Kontakt zu treten und herauszufinden, ob ein Master Studium unter diesen Voraussetzungen überhaupt möglich wäre. Wir versuchten die Universitäten per E-Mail und Telefon zu kontaktieren, bekamen aber nur sehr wenige Rückmeldungen.

Als wir im Internet auf CUCAS stießen, veränderte sich unsere Situation schlagartig. Auf CUCAS fanden wir alle Bachelor- und Master Studiengänge Chinas in übersichtlicher Form aufgelistet, versehen mit sämtlichen Hintergrundinformationen (Kosten, Aufnahmekriterien, Deadline für die Bewerbung etc.). Anfangs waren wir skeptisch, da wir es kaum glauben konnten, dass all diese Informationen in Form einer Webseite zusammengefasst sind. Daher kontaktierten wir CUCAS per E-Mail und erklärten unsere Situation. Schon wenige Stunden später bekamen wir eine Antwort von CUCAS in welcher sämtliche Fragen von uns beantwortet wurden.

Aufgrund unserer Situation hatten wir jede Menge E-Mail Kontakt mit CUCAS, wobei wir immer innerhalb weniger Stunden eine kompetente, freundliche und ausführliche Antwort bekamen. Wir sind sehr froh, einen so guten, vertrauenswürdigen und zuverlässigen Service gefunden zu haben. Dank CUCAS ist es uns ermöglicht worden unser Master Studium gemeinsam in China zu absolvieren.
