Awesome Place to study. It has the best hostel in China and educational quality is awesome. Within 2015 it is going to be the top ten among the world I believe
The campus is huge with many students, there are several big teaching buildings, shuttle buses are provided for campus transport, treatment of foreign students is good, most of the teachers' English is coherent, hard work is required to get top marks, many shops sports grounds restaurants banks barber shops are available, living is okay. Overall, you get what you paid for, organized classes in spacious rooms with caring teachers.
each man should get admission over here may be it will change his/ her life in right way.
what are the strategies that enable and have active community participation
I came to HUST when I was 16 years old. I thought it would be tough getting around in a new continent, and having to learn a new language. However I came to learn that the HUST staff are very helpful and friendly. The international students office takes good care of all the students, they make sure you have accommodation, help you with your visa issues and anything else that you are not sure about. The main campus is big and kept clean. Lots of supermarkets, canteens, sports facilities, banks within campus. Lots of after school Programs organised by Chinese students, such as Chinese corner, SICA, where you can go make Chinese friends and practice language and learn about Chinese culture. Most of the teaching staff are friendly and are willing to help you out with difficulties with assignments, or topics you don't understand. The laboratories and classrooms are fully equip too. HUST is located in a very efficient area close to malls and good restaurants. I enjoy studying in HUST, the staff are willing to help, and its easy to make friends.
Last year there weren't many russian students around and the main reason for that is that most russian scholars choose to go to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or universities of Heilongjiang, but I, as a member of CSC scholarship program, has found myself here, in Wuhan, Hubei province. And it was worth it, every minute of it! Beautiful campus, perfect conditions for foreign students, good food in cantines, teachers who are eager to teach and listen and are easy to become friends with. Another thing to meintion is SICA, student organisation which helps foreign students to find chinese friends (and vice versa). And the city itself is a very good place to feel China as it is now. It is bustling with life and full of daring ambitions, but still preserves a lot of old China of 1970-s and 1980s; this way it is much easier to understand the way chinese people see the world now.
Quality education with tremendously helpful staff. Beautiful natural surroundings with a peaceful ambiance.
The best thing i love about HUST is the main campus and its surrounding facilities .. its a very Good university and I love being here ..
The first day I came to this university with my parents, we found the campus is so big and so colorful. Millions of trees around me and very convinient for anything. People here is friendly and students are so hard in study. I love HUST! I am proud of being a HUSTer and hope HUST will be proud of me in the future! haha
I have been travelling and working for many years. I had for a long time wanted to go for further studies and specialization. However, when I ended up in China for a couple of years for a project in the company I worked for, I finally decided that it would be worth looking at different options. I spoke with my government and first, to see what they could recommend, and once I heard that HUST had a good overall feedback, I decided it could be worth some research. I was pleased to be met with the great administration of the office and their thoroughness in regards to my questions. A quality I found to be rare in China. Once I had made my decision to come to HUST for my telecommunication major, and arrived it was pleasing to see that I was far from the only foreigner in the university. There is a large number of different international students, all studying different majors, and from different countries. This made it and exciting and very multicultural environment. I also found some north Europeans which made it very easy for me to fit into the international crowd. The overall teaching of the university so far is great. All the teachers are very serious and work very hard to deliver good courses. In addition to the quality of materials, the school as integrated a lot of different practical experiments both challenging and exciting, which makes the application of what we learn very easy to understand. I get asked many times why I chose China instead of my own country coming from a renowned technical country. However, I see no difference in quality. On the contrary, I think the overall gain to get my degree in China is a lot more competitive than a Swedish degree, as I do not only learn my major, but the language and culture that today is required in many fields, and for engineers sometimes a requirement to have certain language skills in order to climb the corporate ladder. Overall, this was the best choice I could have done! För alla svenskar, jag hoppsas att jag ser fler av er här de kommande åren!
Being my first time abroad, and also alone I was very frightened, but since the moment i stepped outside of the airport to this very day I have only loved every bit of my experience living & studying in HUST, wuhan. Not only is the bachelors degree very famous but very valuable too. HUST is not only one of the top 10 universities in China, it is also the leading university in engineering and medicine fields. Tongji Medical Hospital being one of the best in China itself. Speaking of the faculty in HUST, the administration is extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful at all times and very proficient with english. Language barriers have not only been broken but also abolished. There are a large number of canteens, dormitories, teaching buildings, gyms, sports grounds and pools. Also, there are many students from Sweden, Germany, France, England, Hungary, Spain, America, Canada, Zambia, Middle East(Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen), South Africa, Ghana, South East Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Japan). There are more than 3000 foreign students in HUST, while countless more in Tongji (approximately 1000). The nightlife is not bad either, due to the abundance of foreigners Wuhan has been altering itself to make it more foreign friendly. The food is not bad and the location of the university is the absolute best! Very close to one of the largest malls in Wuhan (Guanggu) we are close to a large number of foreign branded goods such as H&M, Zara, C&A, Giordano, Levi's, Starbucks, Mc Donalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. Also the scenery in and out of the university is breath taking (from the first time i entered the university i have always admired how beautiful and nautral everything is) People also use electric bikes and electric cars to save the Earth by not depending on non renewable resources and also for keeping it clean and environment friendly. HUST's brilliance spreads wide and far in terms of excellent academics, brilliant students, having a wide range of foreigners, perfect location & great food too. There is a big provision for halal food as they care for each students needs, there is also a number of vegetarian options. There are three muslim canteens on campus and countless small restaurants which serve halal food, so there is not much to worry for the muslims. Also, there are banks, post offices, libraries, driving schools, music classes, food & vegetable markets and supermarkets available close by everywhere.. in any direction you you will be sure to find a market of one type of the other.. the campus is very neatly made and very big too, the size infact is somewhat gigantic when in comparison to many other schools and universities nearby. There are many courses in english available in the form of bachelors, masters and PhD.. some of the courses for the bachelors degree students are Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering, Bachelors of Electronics & Information Engineering, MBBS, chinese language courses too. As for the masters, there is an ever growing number of them. I recommend any student this university as I personally promise that once familiarized with HUST, it will welcome you with open arms and also swallow you in its lovely atmosphere making you feeling safe and at home. The journey through HUST is an adventure and a life changing experience.
