Entry Requirements

1. Application is open to applicant who owns a non-Chinese citizenship, aged between 16 and 35, in good health condition, (Applicant is currently working in a Chinese language teaching position shall not exceed the age limit of 45. Undergraduate student shall not exceed the age limit of 20)
2. This category provides a sponsorship for 5 months. Applicant should have no prior experience of studying in China, but have a minimum score of 120 in HSK Test (Level 2), and a minimum score of 40 in HSKK (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should have a minimum score of 100 in BCT (A), and a minimum score of 120 in BCT (Speaking).

Program Description

1) Training requirements:

1. Adapted to all the four Chinese language abilities used in Chinese teaching environment, including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
2. Master some basic professional knowledge
3. Gradually adapt to the teaching methods and learning methods of the university
4. Have the ability to learn and think independently.

2) Program categories

Chinese Class (long term): The long-term class (more than half a year) enrolls students twice a year, starting in March and September respectively, with different levels: primary, intermediate and advanced courses. The core courses include: reading and writing, listening and speaking, reading, intensive reading, scientific Chinese, and Chinese culture, etc.
According to the applicants’ application and class placement interview results, several small classes will be organized for teaching. Each class will have listening, speaking, reading and writing courses to comprehensively develop students' four skills. Classes will run from Monday to Friday. Every week 22-30 class hours will be arranged. In addition, there will be special tutoringcourses for HSK.
※ During the epidemic, online Chinese language classes will be provided. After the outbreak, the registration fee will be waived for online students who continue to study offline.

3) Completion and further education

Upon completion: Students who pass the required courses and obtain the required credits will be awarded the Certificate of Completion for Chinese Language Training issued by the Institute of International Education.
Further education: Students who have completed all the teaching procedures prescribed in the training program and passed the undergraduate qualification examination can directly enter the undergraduate program of our university.
Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria for completion or fail to pass the qualification examination for admission to the undergraduate program may continue to study in the language program until they pass.
