Scholarship Detail

1. Exempt from registration fee, tuition, and accommodation fees on campus.

2. Monthly living allowance:
RMB 3,500 for Doctorate degree students.

3. Comprehensive Medical Insurancefor International Students in China.

Note: This scholarship is for the whole academic years, and the annual evaluation is needed.

Eligibility

Majors in Chinese Medium:
a. HSK5 for Liberal arts and Management science.
b. HSK4 for Science and engineering.

Majors in English Medium:
a. IELTS: 6.0 or TOFEL: IBT80.

Documents You Need to Provide

1. Scholarship Application Form.

2. Relevant Chinese or English language proficiency test certificate.
See the "Eligibility" section.

3. Photocopy of valid passport.
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included.

4. Passport photo.
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant.

5. Master degree diploma.
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

6. Postgraduate notarized transcripts.
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

7. Physical Examination Form.
Must be filled in English or Chinese.

8. Reference letters.
Applicants must submit two reference letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.

9. Other documents.
Applicants for music are requested to submit one cassette recording of the applicant’s own work. Applicants for fine arts must submit six color photographs of personal works (two sketches, two color paintings and two other works).

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: No, because the application process for this scholarship is complicated and hard to deal with. We need a very long time to help you apply it. As a result, it is not refundable.


Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and aroud May to June for Autumn Intake.


Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.


Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
