1. First Prize (FULL SCHOLARSHIP):
Tuition and room charge(for living in the dormitory on campus) fully waived
Insurance fully covered: RMB600 per person per year
Living allowance: 1000 per person per month

Program Highlights

Program Description

Biology discipline in Southwest University of Science and Technology relies on the Engineering Research Center for Biomass Resource Modification of Sichuan Province, the Engineering Research Center of Biomass Materials (Ministry of Education), the National University Science Park (Biotechnology Incubator), the Collaborative Innovation Center of Agricultural Biomass Circulation and Utilization, and other key research platforms. It bases on the application of modern science and technology, integrating of biology, agriculture, forestry, medicine, environmental science and engineering, food science and engineering, and other interdisciplinary theory. In the field of agricultural biology, the researching on plant genetic and germplasm innovation, plant development and regulation, animal growth and regulation are performed. Natural products chemistry, environmental pollution biological effects and ecological restoration are characteristic researching fields, mainly including plant biology, animal biology, microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, genetics and other secondary disciplines. Among these disciplines the plant biology, biochemistry and molecular biology are the key disciplines of Sichuan province, with international level of scientific research platform and scientific research strength.
This major is provided by SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, with five secondary disciplines, namely, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. And you will be awarded with Biology degree, the degree of Master of Biology.
