Scholarship Detail

1.The Class B Scholarship sponsors students at a rate of 20,000 RMB/person/year.
2.The Class B Scholarship sponsors excellent international students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Zhejiang Province. The scholarship should be used to cover registration fee, tuition fee, fee for basic learning materials, accommodation fee and serious disease and accident insurance.

Eligibility

1.Applicant for bachelor’s degree program or for two/three-year college degree should have obtained senior high 2.school diploma or equivalent education, and be under the age of 30.
3.Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.
4.Applicants should comply with the laws and regulations in China, and comply with the rules and disciplines in the host HEIs.
5.Applicants should have a good academic record which is among top of the class.
6.Applicant should NOT be awarded with other Chinese Government Scholarships of all levels.

Documents You Need to Provide

3.Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship application form
4.Highest diploma (original or notarized photocopy): Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
5.Academic transcripts (original or notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
6.A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English and no less than 800 words.
7.Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (The original copy should be kept by the applicant.). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination as it is valid for only 6 months.
8.HSK (the Chinese Proficiency Test) Certificate. Applicants for English-taught programs must submit proof of English Language proficiency.

Program Description

1. Educational Objectives

Editor Notes: The students of studying this program can have strong engineering foundations as well as be able to engage in operation and management, planning and design, scientific research, etc. in the rail transit, road traffic, and related  fields.

The major aims to cultivate the high-quality engineering and technical talents that all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor, with socialist core values, professional  ethics, humanistic literacy and social responsibility, innovative spirit, teamwork, international vision and lifelong learning ability, who master the basic knowledge, theory and technology of transportation, are able to engage in operation and management, planning and design, scientific research, etc. in the rail transit, road traffic, and related  fields.

The goals of this major for the trained students after graduating for about five years include:

Goal 1: Having strong professional and engineering foundations, and being able to use the professional knowledge and skills to solve complex engineering problems in the field of transportation;

Goal 2: Being able to organize and coordinate the relevant units and individuals to provide the reasonable solutions for the complex engineering problems in the transportation field at the professional positions such as research, planning, design, operation, and technical management with appropriate technology and tools, in the scopes of appropriate technique, society, ethics, and organization;

Goal 3: Having good ideological and moral character, humanistic and social science literacy, and social responsibility, and abiding by engineering professional ethics and norms in engineering practice;

Goal 4: Having international vision and innovative thinking, being able to learn and track cutting-edge technologies in the field of transportation.

2. Requirements for credits

Editor Notes: Students need to complete at least 140 credits before they get the bachelor degree.

At least 140 credits are needed to get the bachelor degree, which include 39.5 credits for general education curriculum, 26 credits for discipline  platform courses, 20 credits for discipline platform courses, 12.5 credits for expand courses, 14 credits for optional courses and 28 credits for pactical courses.
