Course name: Reading and Writing class preparatory, grade 1 (100-101-102)
Course categories: reading and writing skills training
Three semester teaching time: not less than 324 hours, 6 hours/week)
Content summary: the teaching purpose of this course is based on the student to carry on the preliminary reading and writing skills training, trains the student to have the preliminary Chinese reading and writing ability. Teaching content including mandarin phonetics teaching, enable students to master Chinese language system of initials, finals and tones.
Course name: Reading and Writing class, grade 2 (201-202)

Two semester teaching time: not less than 216 hours, 6 hours/week)
Content summary: the teaching purpose of this course is through further Chinese reading and writing skills training, training students\' ability of reading mediocre Chinese articles and more fluent Chinese writing ability, so that the students can more freely in daily life and learning to use Chinese. Teaching contents are text reading teaching, further correct the students\' sound, rhyme and tone pronunciation.

Two semester teaching time: not less than 216 hours, 6 hours/week)
Content summary: the teaching purpose of this course is on the basis of reading and writing training, causes the student to expand vocabulary, improve the analysis and the ability to use words, to further improve their reading and writing ability, can make students more familiar, flexible, and accurately grasp and use Chinese, and be able to understand and appreciate Chinese at a higher level of rich and colorful language phenomenon. Paying attention to the combination of read and write, through introducing the reading skills training and knowledge of Chinese culture, reading, cultivate the students deep meaning of the text understanding ability; Writing, improve students\' ability in Chinese the use of written language and expression.
