the scholarship duration of Master’s Degree is 2-3 years
(the annual evaluation is needed)
a. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
b. Applicants must not be university students in Chinese universities at the time of application.
c. Education background and age limit:
Applicants for master’s degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
1. USTB Application Form for International Students with a photograph fixed.
2. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or in English).
Those who are available for online application shall fill in and print the application form after submitting it online.
3. Bachelor’s degree diploma (notarized photocopy).
University students or applicants employed shall provide proof of studying or employment on application.
Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
Student also need to get degree diploma photocopy notarzied in the local Chinese embassy, and mail a copy of it to CUCAS office.
4. Bachelor’s degree academic transcripts (notarized photocopy).

5. Study or research plan.
In Chinese or in English, no less than 800 words.
6. Recommendation letters.
Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
7. Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of the applicants’ own works.
Applicants for fine arts must submit a CD of the applicants’ own works (including two sketches, two color paintings and two other works).
8. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form
The original copy should be kept by the applicant.
The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid.
9. English-Taught Courses have to submit IELTS 6.0 or above, copy of TOEFL 80 or above.

The main aim of management science and engineering is to study the inherent law of management, provide the scientific theories, methods and projects for the economy organizations to operate at the best situation and accomplish the goals effectively. This discipline is based on management science and economics, closely related to mathematics, information science and engineering sciences. The emphasis is the research on the methodology of management science and engineering and the application in management.
The main research areas include:
1. Production and Operation Management The main research areas include the basic theories of production and operation management and the methodology of production plan and organization management for enterprises. It assimilates the latest international theories; expand traditional production management theories with special consideration of environment and production economic theory.
2. Management process optimization The main research areas include management process modeling, arithmetic and application based on management methods and model. The research areas also include the process optimization based on data management and analysis.
3. Computer Aided Management The main research areas include the theories, methods and application of business information management and information systems; the computer aided production plan system which support the new type of management; the application of E-commerce and internet in business information management, etc.
4. Quality Management and Control The main research areas include quality management theories, quality control methods and their application in enterprises.
5. Decision-making Process and Methods The main research areas include decision-making theories, process and the application of its analysis method, including strategic management, decision-making support system, investment decision-making analysis and project management, modern organization theories and applications, etc.
