Entry Requirements

Applicants must be non Chinese Foreign citizens in good health both physically and mentally with good academic background, observe Chinese laws as well as university rules and regulations, and respect Chinese customs.
PhD program: Applicants must have a Masters degree or certification of equivalent education under the age of 35
The degree must be ready prior to the registration day
Applicants who apply for English-taught program must have minimum requirements for IELTS (Academic) total score 6, or TOEFL score 80. Applicants who apply for Chinese-taught program must have HSK 5 certificate.

Program Description

Brief Introduction

Information and Communication Engineering is to study new theory, new methodology and new technology of all kinds of electronic, communication, information systems and related signal processing aspects based on information acquisition, transmission, exchange and information networks. Based on information science and engineering, this discipline, with its goals to develop China’s electronic information industries, is focusing on the research, design, development and implementation of electronics and communication information systems. It includes communication and information systems on communications, radar, sonar, aerospace, electronic countermeasures, electronic measurement systems as well as theory and technology on information signal and information processing.

Research Area: 1. Radar systems theory and technology; 2.Wireless networks and communications; 3.Modern signal processing; 4.Short-ranged radio detection and guidance technology.

The educational system of full-time doctor candidates is given priority to three years flexible length within 8 years. The total credits are equal to or above 16.
