Program Description
1. Program Overview
Editor Notes: All levels are availabe in ZAFU, and students are taught in small class.
- Organizes language-teaching classes at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. Students are classified by taking a proficiency test.
- A class is usually composed of 20-30 students.
- The spring semester starts from late February and the autumn semester from early or middle September.
- A semester usually consists of 18 weeks with16-20 class hours of language courses per week.
- Electives are offered for students to choose from one to three courses according to the students' interest and Chinese capacity.

Editor Notes: Upon passing examination and meeting graduation requirements, you will awarded graduation certificate.
Non-degree candidates will receive a certificate of graduation if they have successfully completed their studies and passed the required examinations. Short-term students and students who failed or withdraw from a program will receive a certificate of study.

Cultural experiences available throughout the courses. ZAFU will arrange culture experience activities for international students from time to time to let you know more about the history and custom of China.

Editor Notes: Canteens on campus are clean, food is delicious and price is cheap.
There are three canteens together on the campus offering delicious and healthy food to students. This price is about RMB 3 to RMB 6 per dish.
7. Vicinity
Editor Notes: Transportation is convenient and facilities around campus are sufficient.
The transportation is very convenient, there are bus stations in front of the western and southern gate of ZAFU, and sharing bikes are also available. And there are also banks, bookstore, shopping malls, post office around the university.
