Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens who have a foreign passport
and MUST be over 18 years of age.
Chinese citizens who have applied for admission to colleges and universities as foreign students after immigrating to a foreign country must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least 4 years，and the last four years (until April 30 of the school year) There is a record of actually living abroad for more than 2 years (actually living abroad for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year subject to entry and exit seals)

Masters degree holders or above.

Applicants for a doctoral program must have a master degree and under the age of 40

The Chinese language and literature undergraduates do not require a background of the Chinese language and can be admitted from scratch.

Chinese language requirements for non-Chinese language and literature major undergraduates must have new HSK level 4 for science and engineering majors；New HSK level 5 for liberal arts major, in addition to passing the entrance Chinese proficiency test. If the oral and writing skills do not reach the level of professional study one year of Chinese language study must be added.

Master's degree or above.

Applicants such as doctoral students, advanced scholars, and research visiting scholars do not have Chinese language requirements, but must be able to communicate normally with doctoral supervisors or co-professors in English.

Project introduction: 3-5 years of schooling, complete credits and achieve a certain degree of scientific research, complete a doctoral dissertation, obtain a graduation certificate and confer a doctorate degree by defending the dissertation.
