Scholarship Detail

1. The first prize of scholarship:

a. Registration fee and tuition fee (including experiment and internship expense)

b. Comprehensive Medical Insurance

c. Monthly living allowance:
CNY1400 for master's degree students

Eligibility

a. Non-Chinese citizen in good health.

b. Applicants for master's degree studies must have bachelor’s degree, under the age of 35.

c. Not sponsored by any other kind of scholarship.

Documents You Need to Provide

For Chinese-taught Programs:

1. Application Form for Southwest University President Scholarship.
(in duplicate, including one photocopy).

2. Photocopies of attained bachelor’s degree diploma, graduation certificate or diploma certificate.

3. No less than 800 word study or research plan in Chinese.

4. Two recommendation letters in Chinese from professors or associate professors.

5. CD of the applicants’own works.

6. Photocopy of HSK certificate or other certificates of Chinese proficiency (if any).

7. Published academic papers or other academic achievements (original or photocopy if any).

8. Two recent photos (white background, in passport size).

9. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport.

10. Two photocopies of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner.
(The applicant keeps the original for future visa application).

For English-taught Programs:

1. Application Form for Southwest University President Scholarship.
(in duplicate, including one photocopy).

2. Photocopies of attained highest diploma, graduation certificate or diploma certificate.

3. Transcripts of the previous academic record.

4. No less than 800 word study or research plan in English.

5. Two recommendation letters in English from professors or associate professors.
