Pharmaceutical Engineering is a cross-cutting discipline of pharmacy, chemical engineering and biological engineering. In 2001, Pharmaceutical Engineering was set up in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology. The major aim is to cultivate the advanced pharmaceutical talents who possess both pharmaceutics engineering knowledge and ability to design research as well as international competitive faculty. The graduates can be competent the production of pharmaceutical products, technology development, application research, factory design and management in the fields of medicine, pesticide, fine chemical and biochemical engineering.
We have a stable and rational academic team, including 14 faculties among which there are 4 professors, 6 associate professors, 3 instructors and 1 engineer. In recent years, we undertaked a number of projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, cooperated with the enterprises to develop new drugs and intermediates.
This specialty is equipped with excellent experimental instruments and has Pharmaceutical Chemical Process Engineering Technology Research Center of Liaoning Province. The teaching practice bases include many well-known pharmaceutical enterprises such as NEPHARM and 3SBio Inc.
Organic Chemistry, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Biological Chemistry, Pharmacology, Organic Reaction for Drug Synthesis, Medicinal Chemistry, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry of natural products, Technology of chemical pharmacy.
Undergraduate students meet graduation requirements, and get a bachelor's degree graduation certificate and certificate of engineering.
