School background

Business School (formerly known as International Business School) was established in February 1993. College covering economics, management science two categories, the establishment of seven department (Department of Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Department of Tourism, Department of Informatics, Department of Exhibition Management), two non-entities Institute (Oriental Real Estate Institute, Shanghai Exhibition College). Has a theoretical economics postdoctoral research station; two World Economy, Industrial Economics Subordinate Discipline Doctoral; three first-level discipline master (theoretical economics, business administration and library information and records management) and a Subordinate discipline master (industrial Economics)  first-level three professional degree master section(Business Management, Tourism Management, Library and Information management).

Business School also focuses on research cooperation with a number of government agencies, industry associations, well-known enterprises to establish collaborative management; College actively carry out international exchanges and cooperation, has been established a good relationship of cooperation with Australia, USA, UK, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Macao regions and other international colleges and universities.

Tourism department was established in September 1989, is now basically built a comprehensive disciplines echelon with a reasonable structure of teachers\' age and diversification and comprehensive professional background.

Faculty

There are of 89 staffs, including 75 full-time teachers, 17 professors, 31 associate professors, 27 lecturers, 1 professor from "thousands of plans, Professor," program. 

1. High school qualification or above with valid foreign passport.

2. Following students should meet the conditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC:

(1) Students who emigrate from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtain the foreign nationality;

(2) Students, whose parents (either or both) hold Chinese nationality and reside abroad, acquire foreign nationality at the time of birth.

3. The students who apply for the program of English for overseas students or programs in the School of International Chinese Studies should have HSK-4 with a passing score of 180 or above, and HSK-5 with a passing score of 180 or above is required for other Chinese-taught programs.

4. Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old. The guardian should be in China.

1. In the past four years’ (by April 30) entry & exit stamp pages on the passport from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

A scanned copy of the original certificate, if not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or English is required.
Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation. The expected time to obtain the degree certificate should be earlier than August 31, and the graduation certificate must be submitted when registering.

*8. Letter of self-recommendation (500-800 words).

Applicants of Chinese-taught programs should write in Chinese.

9. For applicants of School of design, a video of self-introduction and design procedure will be needed.

10. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.

11. Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old.
