Most people in the baosteel group, Oriental international group and other large state-owned foreign trade enterprises, general electric, multinationals such as unilever, Siemens, maersk logistics, international big four accounting firms, HSBC, standard chartered bank, bank of China and foreign countries, and other joint ventures with Chinese companies overseas agencies.

Notes

1) The financial support and custody may be student's parents or relatives in Shanghai.

2) Tuition and any other fees are not refundable once they have been paid to SISU.

2) Non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport, with good mental and physical health conditions, and with reliable guardian for economic guarantee.         

3) Following students should meet the conditions set by the Document No.12 (2020) of the Ministry of PRC.

Students emigrate from Mainland of China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtain the foreign nationality;

Students, whose parents (either or both) hold Chinese nationality and reside abroad, acquire foreign nationality at the time of birth.

4) If you studied or lived in China before, you should not have any record of violation of laws or disciplines.

 4. Admission Requirements and Entrance Examinations.

1) Majors at Hongkou Campus (NO ENTRANCE EXAMINATION)

A. Chinese Language, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (Chinese):  Applicants must have Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 4 (a total of no less than 180). Students who study undergraduate program related to Chinese language for one semester in any Chinese university with New HSK level 4 (a total of no less than 195) can apply to study from the second semester of the first academic year. Students who study undergraduate program related to Chinese language program for one academic year in any Chinese university with New HSK level 5 (a total of no less than 180) can apply to study from the second academic year. Students who study undergraduate program related to Chinese language for two academic years in any Chinese university with Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 5 (a total of no less than 210) can apply to study from the third academic year.

B. International Economics and Trade (Chinese): ①Applicants must have Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 4 (a total of no less than 180). ②Students who study undergraduate program related to economics and trade for one semester in any Chinese university with New HSK level 5 (a total of no less than 180) can apply to study from the second semester of the first academic year. Students who study undergraduate program related to economics and trade for one academic year in any Chinese university with New HSK level 6 (a total of no less than 180) can apply to study from the second academic year.

 ★Applicants who want to start from the second semester of the first academic year, the second or the third academic year, need to pass the entrance examination organized by the School of Chinese Studies and Exchange. Entrance examination will be held on January 9, 2023 or February 13, 2023 for the admission of the second semester of the first academic year, and June 26, 2023 or August 21, 2023 for the admission of the second or the third academic year. The entrance examination will be held in office 419 in teaching building 2 on Hongkou Campus at 15:00 p.m. Please bring you passport and HSK certificate (original version). Those who pass the entrance exam and with good grades from the previous university can be enrolled in the corresponding grade to study.
