The Master of Global Management (MGM) is a full-time postgraduate degree program customized for international fresh graduates and young professionals with interest in both international management and Chinese economy, aiming to take up leadership positions in their career.

Business service accounts for highest ratio of 17%. Non-banking finance is 15%. Manufacture, banking and telecommunication industry are 14% respectively. The Construction industry is 12%. Real estate is 8%. The smallest ratio is in the energy industry which is 3%.

International Exchange

SEM is committed to create a global community on campus. International exchange and cooperation has always been SEM’s most prominent characteristics. Currently, SEM has partnered with more than 80 prestigious universities/institutions in 26 countries around the world and establishes a wide range of international cooperation. SEM encourages high level academic faculty and student exchange. Exchange has been carried out at all levels of programs. Every year SEM receives more than 500 international students and exchanges more than 200 students with partner institutions. Tongji-SEM has become  one of the most popular university locations in China, rendering students a unique and vibrant ambiance in terms of culture, living, study, and sport facilities.

Note: tuition fee is RMB 158,000 for the entire program.

• Above 18 years old, non-Chinese citizen.
• Applicants for Master programs should have a Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Healthy both physically and mentally.
• IELTS: ≥ 6.0; or TOEFL: ≥ 550(PBT), ≥ 80 (iBT).
• Applicants with GMAT (Program code KXQ-WQ-60) will be preferred. 
• Native English speaker or the applicants with bachelor degrees in native English nations can be waived from English requirement. GMAT or GRE is optional. 

Note: Since 2010, those who immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and applying to study in Tongji University as international students, should satisfy the following additional requirements: 
the applicants must hold valid passport or other relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; 
In the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration), the applicants must live overseas for 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa.).

*5. Graduation certificate and degree certificate.

If the certificate is not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated versions must be submitted.
The certificate should be notarized by local Chinese Embassy or local Chinese Consulates (or foreign embassies or consulates in China). Certificate of expected graduation issued by current academic institution (for applicants who will be graduating after current academic year only and must be the Original copy).
Degree certificate is required to be verified; and notarized documents related to the degree certificate must be submitted at the registration.

*6. Original or notarized academic transcripts of the bachelor program.

If the academic transcripts are not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated document must be submitted.
The transcript should be notarized by local Chinese Embassy or local Chinese Consulates (or foreign embassies or consulates in China).

*7. Two letters of recommendation

Original recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors (contact information is necessary).

*8. Personal statement

Around 1000 words for graduate program, in Chinese (Chinese- taught programs) or English (English-taught programs). Study and work experience, academic research achievement, planned research proposal and personal prospect after graduation should be included.

*9. Physical health report issued within the last six months or valid Chinese visa

*10. Catalogue and abstract of published papers and any other material that can prove your academic research ability.

11. Other supporting materials

Such as approve letter from supervisor in Tongji, award certificates, admission notice from other universities, etc.

12. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.
