1. Brief Introduction

Editor Notes: CIE provides 5 different levels (3-7) courses for international students.

• This program starts from Sep with a duration of 1 year.
• Students' proficiency levels are determined by test results.

• Type 1: Forums and lectures regarding ideology, such as ' Youth in the Prime -Outstanding Chinese Youth Forum'', ''Great Masters Forum'' and ''the Little Grove Culture Forum''.
• Type 2: Other various academic lectures and competitions, such as those that may cover natural sciences, social sciences, or the humanities.
• Type 3: Recreational activities and sporting events including freshmen-welcoming parties, parties in honor of graduating students, science, technology and art festivals, student debates, singing competitions, dancing competitions, and other activities.

• 1. An applicant should respect and obey the laws and decrees of the People' s Republic of China and accept the conditions of admission set out by Shandong University.
• 2. Above 18 years old. A student who is under 18 years of age and whose parents do not reside in China must formally entrust a foreign or Chinese resident in China as the student's guardian to provide relevant support. Students will need to provide: 1) Guardian letter from the guardian. 2) Notarized authorization letter for the guardian from his parents. 3)The passport of the guardian.
