Program Description
1. Program Introduction
Editor Notes: Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering has two directions, namely Oil and Gas Well Drilling Engineering and Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (Oil and Gas Well Drilling Engineering)
Oil and gas wells are physical and informational conduits in the exploration and development of underground oil and gas resources. It is not only crucial throughout all stages of the exploration and development process, but also provides significant insight into the exploitation of other subsurface resources such as methane gas or thermal energy. This program aims at providing knowledge on proper design engineering and management of oil wells for economic production and smooth operation.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering)
Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering is a discipline that aims to understand the fundamental properties of oil and gas reservoirs and the law of oil and gas flow in porous media, build the effective displacement systems to develop oil and gas fields properly, and extract the oil and gas to the surface economically.

1. Non-Chinese citizen who can study and live in school in good health and with a sound mind.

4. Language Requirements:
English-taught programs: Applicants should be native English speakers or come from countries with English as the official language; otherwise, they should provide a valid English test certificate such as IELTS≥6.5, TOEFL≥80, or TOEFL Essentials≥9 (DI Code: 806).
5. Applicants should be friendly to China, law-abiding, without any criminal records.

*5. Bank Reference Letter
The fund requirement shall be calculated according to the basic expenses (tuition, accommodation, living expenses, insurance, etc.) of the program that the applicant applied for. It is required that the corresponding amount be deposited in the
applicant’s account for at least one month.
If another person’s account is used, a certificate proving the relationship between the applicant and the account owner should be provided. The certificate should be notarized by the local government and verified by the local Chinese Embassy or consulate abroad.
If the application materials are translated, they must be submitted after notarization.
Master's applicants should have at least:
Chinese-taught programs: 53000 RMB, English-taught programs: 55000 RMB.
