Courses
Intensive Reading, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Listening, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, Translation, Extensive Reading, Newspaper Reading, History of Chinese Culture, History of Philosophy, History of Literature, Chinese history, Chinese Folk Tradition, Chinese Contemporary Economic, Spoken Chinese on Trade and Economy, Writing Practice on Trade, Trade Practices, Chinese Phonetics, Chinese Characters, Lexicology, Chinese Grammar and Ancient Chinese language, etc.
Extra-curricular Activities
The students\' activities are organized each semester for the students to visit the most famous and distinguished places in Dalian, like the Golden Stone Beach and Bingyugou Scenic area , etc. Furthermore, the school offers some after-school activities, such as tennis, tai chi, paper-cutting, Chinese cuisine, Chinese songs, Chinese drama, etc.

Note:
Beginners can be directly placed into undergraduate classes to study. However, they can be registered as 2nd year students only if they obtain the HSK Band 4 certificates (score above 180). And they can be registered as 3rd year students only if they obtain the HSK Band 5 certificates.
Entry Requirements
- High school graduate
- To enter the first year: Studied Chinese for more than half year, be able to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese;
- To enter the second year: HSK level 4 scored 180 or above. Be able to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese;
- To enter the third year: HSK level 5 scored 180 or above. Be able to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese

A photocopy of HSK level 5 scored 180 or above. (It is not obliged for students applying for undergraduate programs in Chinese language and literature)

If the applicant has entry and exit records, visa page and the page with exit seal shall be provided.

Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese should be translated into Chinese and be certified by notarization. Both original and translated copies are required.
6. High school graduate certificate
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
