Program Description
1. Program Objective
Editor Notes: Students are mainly engaged in international business and management in foreign economic and trade enterprises, government institutions or scientific research institutes after graduation.
This major trains students to adapt to the development needs of economic globalization, understand the general situation of China, be familiar with the development status and trend of international economy and trade, and systematically master the basic principles of modern economics and the basic theories of international economy and trade; Senior applied foreign economic and trade professionals who are familiar with international economic and trade policies, rules and practices, master professional knowledge and basic skills of international trade, and can engage in international business and management in foreign economic and trade enterprises, government institutions or scientific research institutes.
2. Course Design
Editor Notes: This program has core courses and degree courses, and students are required to complete at least 120 credits.

Principles of Economics, Finance,Econometrics, International Trade Theory, International Finance Theory, International Investment, International Marketing.
Degree Courses
Advanced Mathematics D, Principles of Economics, Finance, Econometrics, International Trade theory, International Finance Theory, International Investment, Experiments for Econometrics, Experiments for International Trade.
3. Cultivation Specification and Requirements
Editor Notes: Students are expected to have the abilities of analyzing and solving problems in actual foreign trade business by comprehensively applying professional knowledge after studying this program.
Students of this major mainly study the basic theories of economics and international trade, as well as the skills and knowledge of foreign trade import and export business, and cultivate the ability to analyze and solve problems in actual foreign trade business by comprehensively applying professional knowledge.
Graduates should acquire and master the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Understand the basic situation of China and master the basic knowledge of natural science and Humanities and Social Sciences;
2. Master the basic theories and knowledge of economics, international trade and international finance;
3. Master and use the basic analysis methods of economics, econometrics and statistics to analyze and solve international economic and trade problems;
4. Be familiar with the prevailing international rules and practices;
5. Skillfully use modern scientific and technological means and methods such as computers and e-commerce to handle practical foreign trade and economic work.
