Introduction:

Nursing education of China Medical University started in 1984 and began to recruit students in 1985. It is one of the earliest nursing major undergraduate level in China. In 2000, it was approved as the master degree authorization center; In 2011, it was approved as the doctoral degree authorization center; In 2014, it was approved as a post-doctoral research station. It has formed a multi-level talent training system for undergraduates, masters and doctors. This major is a national specialty, liaoning province model programs , liaoning province characteristic discipline, and approved "national nursing training center".

Main Courses:

Basic Medicine, Nursing, Humanities and Social Science, Public Health and Preventive Health Care, Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Biology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Health Assessment, Medical Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatric Nursing, Nursing Psychology, Nursing Management, Nursing Research, Community Nursing and other 22 subjects.

Graduation and Degree Issued:

Students who has completed all the required courses and passed all the examinations will be allowed to graduate. Students who meet the requirement of Degree Awarding Committee will be awarded Degree of Bachelor ofScience.

1. High school graduate or above.
2. Age from 18-35 years old. Students under 18 can also apply but they might need to find an adult(your family member, relatives or friends) living in China, better a Chinese, as your guarantor in China before you can apply, and your guarantor will need to provide related documents like guardian letter for you to support their applications.
3. Exmination results in physics, chemistry and biology should be better than average.
4. HSK certificate at Level 4 or above.
5. Both physically and mentally healthy.

Note: Applicants must have Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 4. In order to graduate, students must have Chinese proficiency of New HSK level 5.

International undergraduate students who were Chinese citizens and have immigrated to a foreign country should hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 or more years, and have a record proving that the applicants have stayed abroad for more than 2 years during the last 4 years (staying abroad for over 9 months in a year will be counted as one year and calculation of the duration of stay will be based on the entry and exit stamps ).

2. Others

For applicants whose age is under 18 and parents are not resident in China, their parents must formally entrust a foreigner or Chinese resident in China as the guardian of the applicants and provide relevant entrusted materials.

*3. For the current applicants in China, the following documents are also required to submit in addition to the ones mentioned above

(1) residence permit page;
(2) transfer certificate/no objection certificate/graduation certificate;
(3) transcripts from the previous school;
(4) registration form of temporary residence for Visitors from Overseas;
(5) foreigner Physical Examination Form.

*4. Senior High School Graduation Certificate

Students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduation diploma if admitted), which should be the original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English. Indian applicants are required to submit admit cards for 12th grade examination.
Certificate must be translated into Chinese version.
Due to Liaoning Province Government Policy, certificate must be translated into Chinese version.If you only have English version, please contact CUCAS.

Certificate of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test),No need for English medium programs

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

*8. Scanned copy of the passport

Both the photo page and the latest exit/entrance record visa page; if the passport hasn’t been used before, please submit the photo page and the first two blank visa pages.

9. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.

*10. Letter of financial support and Bank statement

The name on bank statement must be the same with the name of letter of financial support). Ask for minimum balances is at least 100,000 CNY to be maintained on the financial guarantor's account.
