Training Objectives

Based on the characteristics of foreign students and to make the full use of our educational resources, we design the program for the students to master basic theories in the electrical and communication fields, as well as to form the knowledge framework of the major.

After the training of our major, the students will have the basic skills and knowledge of the electronic and information systems, good creative abilities, and engineering literacy. Upon graduation, they will be able to conduct the research, design, and application of the electronic devices and information systems, become the electrical engineering professionals, and have a bright future.

• Master the basic theory of electronic information science and the knowledge of engineering mathematics, basic circuits, electronic technology and computer program design.
• Master the basic skills for the Electronic and Communication Engineering Specialty
• Have the advanced ability of electronic system design, electronic engineering project development and management, computer application, and innovative application of electronic systems.
• Master the basic skills of information acquisition, processing and transmission.
• Master the basic method of literature search, data query, have the ability to expand and obtain new knowledge, and understand the technology development frontiers of electrical and communication fields.

Internship and Career

After coming back to their own country, the foreign students can work for information technology industries, research institutes, universities, and other related communities in research, design, and integration in the related engineering areas. 

1.Applicant should be aged between 18 and 30 (born after September 1, 1993);

2.Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens with valid regular foreign passport and be friendly to China;

*Residents of China who have emigrated to a foreign country and who are now applying to study in China as international students must have held a valid foreign passport for at least 4 years, and must have actually resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30, 2023). (9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year. The dates of the entry and exit stamps in the passport will be followed in the determination of the actual length of foreign residence).

3.Applicant should hold a high school diploma with a satisfactory academic record;

4.Language requriement: applicant who apply for Chinese taught programs should have HSK 4 certificate or above。

5.Applicant should have no criminal record and no drug addiction history;

6.Aplicant should be in good health and have no serious infectious diseases.

*10. Study plan

No less than 1000 words, applicants who apply for English taught program should write the plan in English, applicants who apply for Chinese taught program should write in Chinese.

*11. Physical examination record for foreigner

Complete it in Chinese or English, The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
