Program Description

Shihezi University is a public full-time normal university with coordinated specialties of economics, law, education, culture, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, art and other disciplines. The university is a key construction University of the national "211 Project", a national key construction university in Western China, and a University jointly constructed by province and ministry. It is a University selected for the "basic capacity construction project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions" and the "comprehensive strength improvement project of colleges and universities in central and Western China" (one province and one university). It has been selected as a first-class discipline construction university under the national "double first class" construction, and was selected as a "ministry province joint construction" University in 2018, It is included in the ranking of colleges and universities directly under the Ministry of Education.

Degree offered: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) six-years program, including internship.

Main courses: Chinese, Histology, Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathophysiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Diagnosis, Surgery, Obstetric, Pediatrics.

Fee structure:
(1) Tuition fee per year for 6 years = 30,000 RMB
(2) Hostel fee per year for 6 years = 5,000 RMB
Two students sharing one room.
(3) Registration fee one time at the time of admission = 2,000 RMB
This fee includes admission fee, medical check-up, one year resident permit, student’s card, library card, hostel beddings, sheets etc. Normally you need to pay this after you arrived at the university.

Entry Requirements

Foreign citizens applying for undergraduate education in clinical medicine (English) in China shall hold a valid passport, have good conduct, be in a good health, with a high school diploma, have a basic knowledge of Chinese, good English ability, and basic scientific knowledge.
Student must be between 18-25 years of age.
The applicant shall provide the official high school detail marks transcript, and the score of each subject shall not be less than 75%.
He/she must have no criminal or illicit record in his/her country.
