Cultivation Requirements

Graduates of this major should acquire the following qualities, knowledge and abilities:

1. They have good political qualities and moral cultivation, good morals, physical and mental health, and aggressiveness. They have comprehensive social and cultural knowledge, good professional ethics, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

2. They are familiar with China's financial regulations and policy environment, master basic financial theories and professional skills, and are familiar with Chinese and foreign financial systems and financial market operation rules and mechanisms. .

3. They have mastered the methods and skills of literature search in economic management, and have the ability to obtain information, knowledge and scientific research. They have the ability to think independently, analyze and solve problems, and have strong language and textual expression skills.

4. They have a high level of English learning and use, better listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and have a certain Chinese ability. They have proficient computer operation and application capabilities, and can use computer software to implement basic financial measurement and calculation. They have certain data analysis and statistical processing capabilities, and can perform quantitative analysis, prediction and modeling.

• 1) Applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen with equivalent Chinese high school diploma or above, age from 18 to 40, and in good  health.
• 2) Applicants applying for English-taught programs: In addition to the application materials, a certificate of IELTS (score of 6.0 or above), TOEFL (score of 80 or above), or other equivalent English proficiency is also required for non-native English students.
• 3) For applicants who are Chinese (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) emigrants with foreign nationality, or who are born with foreign nationality and their parent (s) are overseas Chinese, it is required to have a valid foreign passport or certificate of nationality for at least 4 years, and have actually lived abroad for at least 2 years within the last four years. Subject to entry and exit stamps, a nine-month actual residence in one single year can be regarded as one year.
