Teaching Objectives

This program aims at improving students language skills and making them understanding Chinese culture. After finishing the program and passing the examination, students will be awarded Completion Certificate.

Elementary Chinese Pronunciation, Elementary Chinese Vocabulary, Elementary Chinese Grammar, Elementary Chinese Listening, Elementary Oral Chinese, Intermediate Comprehensive Chinese, Intermediate Chinese Reading, Intermediate Chinese Writing, Intermediate Chinese Listening, Intermediate Oral Chinese, Advanced Comprehensive Chinese, Advanced Chinese Writing, Communicative Chinese, Newspaper Reading, Culture Lexicology, Chinese Video, Listening and Speaking, Practical Business Chinese, Mordern Chiense, Ancient Chinese, Mordern Literature, Ancient Literature.

Course Arrangement

There are 18-20 weeks/semester, 20-24 class hour/week. There are 4 classes every morning from Monday to Friday, and optional coursee in the afternoon. 

• 1. Non-Chinese nationality Chinese citizens who apply for degree program after immigration must hold valid foreign passport or nationality proof document for at least four years, and has a record of actual overseas residence for over two years (Actual overseas residence for nine months in a year can be calculated on a one-year basis, according to the entry or exit stamp) in recent four years (dated to April 30, 2020);
• 2. Mentally and physically healthy, with good characters and academic performance, with positive attitude towards China and Chinese;
• 3. Aged not below 16 years old.

Applicants currently residing in China must include a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.)
