The specialty of computer science and technology belongs to information technology. It aims to cultivate students with systematic theory, knowledge, and techniques of computer hardware, software, and application. Higher education: After graduation, undergraduate international students can choose to continue to complete their master's or doctor's studies in our college. We have two first-level disciplines of Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering recruiting and cultivating graduate students. The research directions include Microarchitecture and Integration Technology, Intelligent Sensor SoC, Networked Embedded Computing, Mass Data Storage and Management, Visual and Auditory Information Cognition and Intelligent Computing, Computer Measurement and Simulation, Network Information System Security and Evaluation, etc.

Work: Students can choose to find a job in China or back to their country based on their own interests.

4. Introduction of Northwestern Polytechnical University(NPU)

(1) Good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with study).

(2) Applicants should be under 25 by September 1st, 2024.

(4) Applicants should be competent in performing scientific research and maintain a good academic grade level. The requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above. NPU accepts international standardized tests such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/IGCSE/WAEC/GED. Applicants may provide other certificates as proof for academic performance.

(6) Nationality

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.  For the applicants who used to be Chinese citizens, they must acquire a foreign nationality and cancel Chinese nationality before April 30, 2020 and have a record of actual foreign residency for more than 2 years from April 30, 2020 to April 30, 2024 (record of actual foreign residency for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, referring to the entry and exit date signatures).

Applicants whose one or both parents are Chinese citizens must provide one of the following supporting documents:

(1)The certificate proving that the applicant obtained his/hers foreign nationality at birth;

(2)For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants shall provide the certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality.

(1) Guardian’s Authorization Letter; the document should be an original copy and notarized.

7. Notarized copies of other awards or academic achievements (if any).
