3. School of Management

Editor Notes: Now School of Management has become an influential school of NPU.

The School of Management was established in 1990 with the integration of China Research & Education Center of Plant Engineering (Found in 1984) and Department of Management (Found in 1985). Research and Education in Management have already started since the foundation of NPU. With more than 20 years of development, it has evolved into an influential school within NPU for systematic disciplines, and rich teaching resources.

The Western Research Center for the Development of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense, the International Project Management Research Institute, the Emergency Management Institute and Design Management Institute of NPU are attached to the School. The School has run a very close tie on an extensive scale with Xi'an Aircraft International, Space Technology Group, Chinese First Airplane Design and Research Institute, Changqing Oil Corp etc.

4. International Cooperation and Exchange(ICE)

The School enjoys strong links with universities, institutes, and industries from USA, UK, France, Canada, Japan, Sweden, and Italy, etc. The School is one of founding members of the Alliance of Chinese & European Business Schools (ACE). The School has four accredited program from Global Accreditation Center of Project Management Institute (PMI), namely BSc-PM (Bachelor of Management Science in Project Management), MSc-PM (Master of Management Science in Project Management), MEng-PM (Master of Engineering in Project Management), and MBA-PM (Master of Business Administration with a Specialization in Project Management).

5. Introduction of Northwestern Polytechnical University(NPU)

Editor Notes: NPU is one of the national "985 Project" and "211 Project" key universities. It is famous for "Sanhang" disciplines (i.e., aeronautics, astronautics, marine science and technology).

(1) Good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with study).

(2) Applicants should be under 25 by September 1st, 2024.

(4) Applicants should be competent in performing scientific research and maintain a good academic grade level. The requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above. NPU accepts international standardized tests such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/IGCSE/WAEC/GED. Applicants may provide other certificates as proof for academic performance.

(5) Language

(6) Nationality

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.  For the applicants who used to be Chinese citizens, they must acquire a foreign nationality and cancel Chinese nationality before April 30, 2020 and have a record of actual foreign residency for more than 2 years from April 30, 2020 to April 30, 2024 (record of actual foreign residency for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, referring to the entry and exit date signatures).

Applicants whose one or both parents are Chinese citizens must provide one of the following supporting documents:

(1)The certificate proving that the applicant obtained his/hers foreign nationality at birth;

(2)For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants shall provide the certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality.

(1) Guardian’s Authorization Letter; the document should be an original copy and notarized.

7. Notarized copies of other awards or academic achievements (if any).
