In Zhejiang Gongshang University, master of international students in computer science and technology major has formed several computer specialty disciplines oriented towards the economic development of the “Belt and Road” region along with the orientation and advantage of running a school of the big business branch.

This discipline relies on the superior subject group of Zhejiang Gongshang University, as well as the provincial key laboratories and key scientific and technological innovation teams of the discipline. We focus on applying advanced computer science and technology methods to solve practical information technology problems related to e-commerce and logistics, then we attach importance to the transformation and application of research results. At present, we have reached a large number of distinctive Industry-university-research achievements in the information construction of the trade and commerce, then train tremendous talents of information technology engineering  for the fields of commerce, finance, logistics and so on.

2.Training Goals

The training objective of the specialty is to develop innovative research and independent ability to solve engineering problems in the field of Computer Science and Technology. Students can be engaged in Development of complex computer engineering system. Through study, students should have the following knowledge and ability:

Have a wide range of basic theory and professional knowledge of computer science and technology fields, which cover network computing, visual media computing, service computing,  big data processing, Internet application system analysis and design, e-commerce and internet finance an so on.

Have a sense of innovation and a realistic, serious and rigorous scientific style；independently engage in computer frontier scientific knowledge research, complex engineering system development and project management. After graduation, students can provide high-level professional technical services for the economic and social development of the “Belt and Road” region and other countries (regions), and become the backbone of technology and management in five years.

3. Faculty Staff

There are 98 faculty members, 22 professors and 40 associate professors. Among them, there are 10 doctoral supervisors and 44 master supervisors. 90.78% have a doctor's degree, and 80% are young and middle-aged teachers under the age of 45. More than 50% of students have overseas study and exchange experience. They not only have ample experience in teaching, but are also good at doing research to support teaching.

In order to strengthen the school-enterprise cooperation mode of talent cultivation, help international students feel the corporate culture of the Internet industry, understand the direction of employment, etc. we have created many opportunities to enter the internship enterprises. We cooperated with more than 20 enterprises, including: Alibaba, Huawei, Hikvison, Netease, Hund Sun Electronics and so on.

Among them, Hund Sun Practical Education Base is a provincial students' off-campus internship base approved by the School of Computer Information and Engineering of Zhejiang Gongshang University during the 13th Five-Year Plan. In order to provide high quality internship opportunities for international students, we provide internship reference letter to students who meet the criteria.

Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGU) is located in Hangzhou, a beautiful city which has a long history in China and was inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO in 2011. The history of ZJGU goes back to 1911 when it was named "Hangzhou Business School", which was one of the first business schools in China. • In principle, for master programs should be under 35 years old. The applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, who is physically and mentally healthy and has good conduct. With a valid foreign passport, they should have completed the study of the previous stage (those who have not graduated while applying must provide the pre-graduation certificate and obtain relevant diplomas before the registration). 
• Foreign students should meet the nationality requirements stipulated in the document No.12 [2020] of the Ministry of Education.
