Program Objectives
The Program of Master of Tourism Management aims to cultivate high-end compound tourism professionals who have good moral characters, international view, and solid bases of theoretical knowledge, high level of professional skills, excellent management qualities and innovation abilities.

Research Directions
Master program in Tourism Management aims to equip students with a solid and deep theoretical foundation, fluently English and management competencies.

Tourism Transformation Theories and Practices, Tourist Decision - making Methods and Statistical Analysis, Tourism Economic Analysis, Tourism Planning Theories and Methods,  Research of Travel Agency Operation and Management , Hotel Business Management, Attractions Management, Application and Management of Wisdom Tourism, Tourism Planning Techniques and Case Studies, Exhibition and Festival Management, Theory and Research Methods of International Tourism Management, Hotel Management and Case Studies, Investment and Management of  Tourism Projects ,and so on.

Length of Study
The full-time scheme for the programs lasts for two years and a half.

Required Credits
Thirty-three credits are required

Certificate of Graduation and Degree
Qualified students will be granted certificates of graduation and Master Degree of Tourism Management.

Instruction Language
■ All the courses are delivered in English except some of Chinese language courses.
■ Dissertation is required to be written in English

• In principle, for master programs should be under 35 years old. The applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, who is physically and mentally healthy and has good conduct. With a valid foreign passport, they should have completed the study of the previous stage (those who have not graduated while applying must provide the pre-graduation certificate and obtain relevant diplomas before the registration). 
• Foreign students should meet the nationality requirements stipulated in the document No.12 [2020] of the Ministry of Education.
• English-taught Degree Programs: Applicants (except for English native speakers) must provide proof of English language proficiency such as TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or proof of previous study conducted in English.

Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translated English or Chinese version. Applicants must present the original cope of the aforementioned documents when registering at ZJSU.

Applicants (except for English native speakers) must have TOEFL test or IELTS test or have other English language proficiency.

8. Applicants who acquired foreign nationality at birth in a foreign country, if both or one of their parents is a Chinese citizen shall provide

(1) Certificate of foreign nationality acquired at birth;
(2) Certificate of permanent residence of the applicant's parents (Chinese citizens) in foreign countries before applicants’ birth;
(3) Entry and exit records from April 30, 2019 to April 30, 2023.

With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included.

*13. 2-inch photo

Photo format: color 2-inch bareheaded photo, white background without border, head takes up 2/3 of the photo size, photo size is not less than 320*240 pixels, aspect ratio is 4:3, size is 100-500kb, JPG format.

*14. Notarized highest education certificate(this year's graduates provide proof of pregraduation).

Your recent diploma.Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

*15. Two letters of recommendation

Written in English from two respectable professors. including professors' contact no, email address and handwritten signature

*16. Resume

Written in Chinese or in English.

17. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.
