1. Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ”;

2. Ages from 18 to 30 (based on the time point of September 1 of the year of enrollment), and have obtained high school diploma or above;

3. Are physically and mentally healthy; meet the physical examination requirements for Chinese Visa and Residence Permit in China as well as the physical examination requirements for BSU programs so as to ensure their study and life in China;

4. Have no record of discipline violation, public security punishment or criminal conduct; show respect towards China and behave well; comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect Chinese customs;

5. Have passed HSK Level 4 or above.

2. Applications who are originally Chinese citizens and obtained foreign nationalities afterward should provide the following materials

(1)Valid passport and a certificate before April 30, 2019, for the cancellation of their original registered residence in China and the renunciation of the Chinese nationality should be provided.
(2)The entry and exit seal page of visiting China on the applicant's passport from April 30, 2019, to the time of application.
(3)The proof of residence abroad of at least 2 years by April 30, 2019 (9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year, subject to entry and exit signatures).

3. Applicants should provide the following materials if one of or both of the parents of the applicant are Chinese citizens

(1)Certificate of the applicant obtaining foreign nationality at birth or afterward.
(2)The nationality or household registration certificate of both of the applicant's parents (passport or ID card).
(3)For applicants who obtained foreign nationality at birth, if one of or both of the parents are Chinese citizens and have the permanent residence abroad, a certificate of the corresponding permanent residence needs to be provided. If one of or both of the parents are Chinese citizens but have not obtained the permanent residence abroad, certificate of the withdrawal from Chinese nationality of the applicant needs to be provided.

*4. Original certificate of no criminal record

(1) Applicants currently in China must provide a certificate of no criminal record in China issued by the local exit and entry administration department or public security organ;
(2) Applicants who are not currently in China must provide a certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security administration.

*8. The transcripts of all senior high school courses in original or as certified copy in Chinese or English

The guardian of the student has to be living in Beijing at present and must have a source of income regardless their nationality is Chinese or not.
