The bachelor's program of Computer Science and Technology is a four-year English-taught program established on the fundamental theories and emphasizes on the practices, innovation and research of Computer Science and Technology.

The graduates mainly work in the field of computer application, embedded system and software, computer software and hardware system, information system, computer network, can be work on technology development, research, application and technology management, etc.

ECUST International Student Alumni Association in China was also established in order to help international students to better contact and help each other in China.

Plenty of internship opportunities are available for international students in ECUST. The Human Resource Office will offer job application invitation to excellent students.

Extracurricular Activities

A great variety of cultural activities organized by the ECUST, such as Cultural and Art Festival, Ideological and Academic Festival, and Society Festival have enriched the students’ extra-curricular activities and provided them with a large stage to show their talent as well as to improve their capabilities.

1. Applicants must be holding a high school degree or above, non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35; those who are under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who is in China.

3. Applicants should meet the language requirements

English-taught Program: minimum requirements of TOEFL 70, or IELTS 5.5, or provide proof of English-taught program during previous study. Native English speakers do not need to submit the English Proficiency Certificate. TOEFL & TOEFL Mybest scores are both accepted(ECUST code: C473).

* According to regulations by Ministry of Education of the PRC, since 2021, applicants who immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality; or applicants whose parents are both Chinese nationals and have both settled abroad, or one of whose parents is a Chinese national and has settled abroad, thus has acquired foreign nationality at birth applying to study at universities or junior colleges as international students, should satisfy the following additional requirements: the applicants must hold valid foreign passport or other relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration), the applicants must live overseas for 2 years (living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa.).
