• Applicant should be a senior high school graduate or with equivalent schooling in the age bracket of 18-50.
• Pass BLCU online Chinese Language Test (Students with HSK4 of 180 or above are   free from written examination, but shall attend the interview still).
• Those who fail the Chinese Language Test shall take Chinese language course or preparatory   course and meet the entry requirement before starting the undergraduate study.

*8. Letter of recommendation

Written in English from applicants' former teacher including teacher's contact no., email address, handwritten signature.

*9. Applicants under the age of 18 (above the age of 16) also need to provide

1. Notarial Certificate(original copy), which includes Guardian’s Letter of Guarantee and Notarization letter
2. Photocopy of Guarantor's ID or Residence Permit (front side and back side), or Foreigner's Residence Permit
Notes: 1. Applicant’s parent need to find A.a Beijing Local, or B.a non-Beijing-local(working in Beijing with residence permit),or C. a foreigner( with a residence permit which covers the applicant’s study period),to be the applicant’s guarantor. First, Letter of Authorization can be acquired at Chinese embassy or consulate. Second, The Letter of Authorization should be notarized at a notary office in Beijing.)
